I'm getting shocked these days------ sunnycool---Used to be so good few days back and NOW he has changed a lot He started making big responses ----you hardly find him writing huge paragraphs (well responses or comments in your language) Would you make huge responses with an intention to make more money or you end up writing that BIG in your uncontrollable flow of subconscious mind

Pity I am going to be the first one here. Which means many will be reading through what I write. So I have to write responsibly. :) I am not very good at expressing sunny. So at times it takes a lot of tweaking and twisting to get somewhere near what I want to actually say. I prefer shorter ones but invariably they lead to misunderstandings in my case because I tend to gulp down the wrong part (forget typing the wrong part). That is how my responses get longer than they should be. Money? Am I drawing more then you? Well, if I am senior at mylot, you better obey me kiddo!

What would constitute crap kiddo? Just wanted to know so that the next time I want to earn more, I could include that.

Describing about the unnecessary things by leaving behind those important things which aren't worth mentioning in the response---- That was supposed to be the definition of Cr@p

Yup you're one of those who make big responses Aunty---you end up writing so much irrespective of the topic---but i gotto say this that you never write cr@p in your response

Both. When I do make big paragraphs, it's usually few and far between. That is to say, there's been times when I've usually just written 2-4 sentences. When I do write bigger paragraphs it's either because I like the discussion, or because I want to earn more money. hehe, now I should be trying to write biggere paragraphs because it's nearly the end of the month and so the cut off date for earnings here for this month. I'd like to make a big amount, so away I go!

So you make big responses at the end of the month to reach the payout----And Huge responses regularly when you love the discussions If you can re-read them---either ways are beneficial .Thats too clever Girl haha

Yep, hehe though I imagine if I wrote long responses all month long I'd reap the benefits even more.

Is it that you're running short of those Good Discussion starters---there by making big responses at the end of the month to reach the payout I think you should complete those tasks girl---they're really good when it comes to money

My responses always tend to be longer, and it has nothing to do with earning more money. For whatever reason I like to explain things, if a discussion is serious then my responses generally go into great detail. If the discussion is light then I still tend to go on a bit. My friends will tell you I love to talk and it seems that it flows over into my typing also. Sometimes I just don't know when to shut up, lol. Happy Mylotting!!!

Sometime I make long response but not intended by the desire of earning more but in the demand of the discussion. Some discussions are very interesting that in responding such discussion world flows freely out from mind. That is demand of the mind that makes any long response from me. And I just participate those discussion where I feel that I have to say something. So automatically more lines are coming out.

That is the miracle of mylot. It makes you more efficient and constructed. Now you are more serious and acquired the ability to make huge comment and response. I think practicing mylot increases you creativity.

I have to agree with you Aaleexix. Since I have been at MyLot my writing skills have been awakened. When I was a youngster I used to write alot; ie. school, business and even recreation. And you're right,my creativity has started to come back. THANKS TO "MyLot" for that. It beats watching TV and playing video games. You don't get paid for them.

Ho sunny cool, I never right too lengthy responses, because I believe in saying in short whatever I want to say. I don't know whether longer responses get more money. I believe that quality of responses earn good money. and long responses need not be good in quality be default. I normally typed as much as it is required to make point clear to the reader. Happy writing !

Telling same thing again and again in different way, does not solve any purpose. Short and sweet is charming too.

It depends really on the discussion. I don't usualy start of intending to write an epic novel, but sometimes I do get a little carried aawy. Or some may say I SHOULD be carried away!! Whatevever the length the payment side of it never occurs to me to be honest"!

Hi Sunnycool! I am guilty of writing very very long comments sometimes. Especially if I am very passionate with the discussion. And I feel I have something to share or contribute to it. I hope I don't get the posters annoyed with my lengthy comment. How about you? Do you find lengthy comments annoying? It got me to think about it.. (^^,)

Its pretty common to enjoy the post if its related to our experiences in one way or the other so we end writing big responses in a flow---its the same with me offlate Well to be frank i avoid lengthy comments---i love to have funny chats than to go for a serious comments lol i wouldnt mind if the main response if lengthy though

It depends if the information being written about is pertinent to the main theme of the discussion. To write just to be writing and not really addressing the subject is a waste of the writer's and the reader's time. Sure you may gain a few "PESOS" from it but the down side is people will become bored with your work and not read it or respond to same. Bottom line? The author of the response must bare that in mind don't you think?

hi sunny! well, whenever i am responding in a discussion, earnings is not usually on my mind. i just write what i think and feel for the moment. there are times specially if the topic is about something that really interest me and about some life experiences that i want to share, even i myself get surprised when i see how much i wrote! haha that's why sometimes i still edit my post and try to shorten it...huh!

haha, actually i am editing not to correct anything or what, but just to lessen the sentences! hehe and make it look shorter... doing good, but sad that i was not able to be here the same way like before...

Hi Sunny, It's more on the excitement and the uncontrollable flow in your heart and mind that made you responded on BIG. Sometimes, even a simple Q and A you will be surprised how you made such a great response and moreso received a best response for such. I take this as a sign that mylot members and myself are really comfortable sharing what's inside my heart and mind. no "editing" of the real essence of the response. the thoughts flow freely and candidly written. If having such a response will be rewarded with extra cents then well in good. but it's the inspiration that triggered for such a free flowing huge response!

sometimes i do tend to get a bit carried away when i'm on a roll, and the subject is something which i'm passionate about..doesn't help that i'm a pretty fast typer too. and also the fact that i'm a natural copywriter it is so nice to express ones' self once in a while.. much better than one or two liners where the idea may or may not come across as how we envision it to be. sometimes when the message is too short, the meaning may get 'lost in translation' by the reader on the other side. hence, it does benefit to write out what we think...well, once in a while. not too often. if it's too often, people might get bored. like how you're getting a bit bored reading this right now. exactly what i mean as for increasing earnings by coming up with huge responses..you mean that's possible? holy macaroni..i didn't know that so, correct me if i'm wrong..if i write long responses that makes as little sense as possible, there would be a chance for me to be rewarded a bit more than usual? that's so great :) oh no, i've run out of emoticons to use. darn those emoticon limiters. how am i supposed to express myself properly in long paragraphs now? i'm so sad.. sorry, got a bit carried away :D
@vandana7 (98718)

You did it deliberately! Gosh, you can really come up with it! In my case, I am not a natural copywriter, so I struggle, I know there is a word or phrase somewhere, but I cant really get hold of it at the right moment, so I end up using a whole lot more!

There are people who struggle to get one liners---may be they must have engraved lot of humor into those liners As far as those earnings are concerned----the bigger the response the richer you get in here

Hey sunny! You can write however much you want to! If you want to write long responses then go right ahead! I do it all the time! And I know that sometimes people probably get annoyed at me, but I can't help it! I am a wordy person, love to talk and usually have alot to say! So, it's a free country and mylot does encourage us to write! So get as excited as you want! Sure beats those one liners! Now those responses annoy me!

No I dont make big responses purely with the interested of making money. when or if my responds are big or long its because I want to make sure I get my point across and sometimes it take more then just a few sentence's for someone to get the full understanding. And also mylot preferrs members to be as descriptive as posible, and yes maybe earnings do play a roll in the length of responses but most of my responses are based upon getting my point across, and not solely for the purpose of earnings.

Oh,no and never. It's tooooo difficult for me to do this.Actually, sometimes ,just several lines can make me want to die.And I feel dizzy when I see huge paragraphs. But if it's in Chinese, well, I should say it's a lot of chicken feed.

The length of my reply depends on the discussion. If someone is asking for advice on something, I like to be detailed in what I'm explaining so the advice is actually helpful. Or if I'm sharing a story, then sometimes it gets long. And maybe if I feel strongly about a certain subject I might write a longer paragraph. But otherwise I try to get my point across efficiently without too much rambling.

My response size tends to vary based on the subject honestly. When something comes up that I'm really passionate about or that I simply have a lot to say about, it's obviously going to be a much longer response than something I'm not as into. I always try to say something though if I have even the slightest bit of insight on a topic.

I'm one of those who think of the hosts lol---they might be annoyed as well.If you were asked about a Cat's food---it would be annoying to go through a response which describe the daily routine of a cat. Some does it for money and others show their affection towards their dear pet.
