is not having a US address stop you selling your writing?

I have just spent more than an hour following so many peoples advice to join associated contect only to find that you can't get payment from outside the US. I feel cheated. I raved about yoodoo to a friend the other day before i remebered it was paid by post to UK households only. I then felt so bad. Do you find it harder to find places that will pay for your work if you are not in the USA or UK? Have you every found out the hard way?

Hi! Im sorry to hear that you can't get paid outside the US. I haven't had that problem before myself. Wish I had a better answer to help you out with it. But I'm taking it that it has to do with some legal justice. Kind of like a job where you can't get the job if your not at least 18 years old or older.

it's about the tax. they can't sort out the tax if you are not in their tax system. I don't mind but i wish they could be more obvious at the sign-up stage. They ask you for your country but it's not until you come to submit do you find that your work won't be paid. also ralised i've a mistake in grammar of the question, too many re-writes - arh!
