Marinated chicken strips

Do you ever marinade chicken the day before you cook it or even a few hours?
What type of marinade do you use?
I prefer to make my own marinate which uses mayo,ketchup,chutney,garlic,salt,parsley, soy sauce and lemon juice placed in a bag with some corn starch and chicken added and tossed and left for 24 hours. The chicken comes out so soft and tasty.

The longer you can marinate the chicken the better. Sometimes I only have a few hours and it is still tasty. Your marinade looks tasty - I will have to try it.

We use marinades on chicken once in a while. Sometimes we marinade with simple items such as barbecue sauce or hot sauce. Other times we use store bought marinades. I prefer spicy marinades! A lot of times too though we just like to season our chicken instead of using marinade!

Jennlk84, I sometimes use a chili sauce for my husband but I myself prefer regular. When you just season it, does it not come out slightly dry?

I often marinade chicken the day before.I use prepared marinades from Lawry's.
