Waiting for something

There are times in our life when all you can do is wait for something to happen. You do everything you possibly can to make it happen but then are left standing there just waiting for something to occur. We are doing that right now. My husband is still looking for a new job. For the past almost two months he has gone online to our local newspaper and a few other sites to search and usually to apply for a job. He has also started the process to go back to school gone to job fairs, interviews and talked around letting people know he is available. ( he's gotten side jobs but nothing permanent)We live in a rural area and do not have many connections as we did not grow up here( major down fall for us). So I am putting it out there that he will find a job and he will find one he likes. Our other big "waiting" is for the birth of our fourth child. She is due to come in a few weeks though if I make past the next two and a half it will be amazing as I never did with my other kids. We seem to be just here waiting for our lives to be thrown into the next phase. Anyone else done something and are now just waiting for it to occur?

You have to keep to prodding along. It does get depressing and frustrating. I would be sure I am doing all I can. Keep checking back with people. Be sure to keep applications updated. Try to remember your emotions may be more intense right now being pregnant and all. If you are doing all you can do then what more can you do? Fate has to take a position at some point. I am in a position in my life where I am helping out a family member. I hope at some point to be on my own and be able to do for myself and enjoy some life. I just have to wait.

Good to hear. Maybe this is a time when you could be doing some self exploration.-?

I am emotionally doing fine, in fact it is more like a little kid waiting for Santa to come. I just am impatient to see how our world changes. New jobs, new baby all can be such life changing events as being some one who thrives on the new experience and cannot wait for them to come along this is sorta like a bit of torture...lol

Oh this was a good discussion. I too was waiting for a very important thing for almost two months. I was waiting for my 1 year OJT interview in Singapore and I need to know when would be the date for it. All of us who applied for that OJT was really hard up and had an uneasy feeling like were about to panic because the classes will start soon and we hope that are plans wouldn't be interrupted by some sudden turn of events
