Facebook chat is cool

I've been using facebook chat to communicate with my friends from other places and it's cool because you can send messages live and whenever they are offline the next time they open their account your message will appear in message panel. Writing in the wall in also great because you can communicate as a forum live.

friends but we get to communicate with them as easily done in facebook chat.

yes i'm addicted by facebook but i'm not adding friends whom seem stranger to me just those with clear identity and i only chat for those i know.

I also agree that its cool, but I wish there were more smilies. Although they have some cool ones (try any site like http://www.rubikscube.site90.com/facebooksmilies/ ) there range is really limited.

yes i think so..
Facebook chat is the best asset of Facebook.
its the main reason why people are being addicted to it, cause they can chat while viewing the profile who are they talking to, and do other things like playing games. it's like yahoo chat is inside a community site.

It's a good function, but messes up quite a lot. A lot of the time, it tells me my friends aren't online when they are and vice versa. Or it freezes or doesn't want to load. such a pain. But the concept is nice. You can talk to the people who are online when you are in one place.
