What does nature do for you?

Do you enjoy nature? When you are outside is it refreshing to you? Do you enjoy camping? Are you an outdoors person? Or do you hate bugs and being outdoors. I love the mountains and being in them. I feel closer to any spiritual being when out among nature. What are you thoughts?

I am an out door person I love nature, there's lot of things that nature provide to us. But sadly we human don't value it, nature provide us many thing but we just killed and destroy them, I really hate people who abuse our nature, I just hate them even we experience what can be the result in destroying our nature, people just wont stop in doing it. I wish some people who has the power and money act about this. when I'm in nature place a feel like I getting cleaned up, I feel refresh and relax, nothing can compare the feelings I felt when I'm with nature,

I find that nature opens me up. It also relaxes me. There is so much that is refreshing in the sights and smells of nature. I like to go to the lake more than most anything. I am a person who loves the water. We do not have mountains around here, so I have not really ever been to the mountains. For me nature expresses the grandeur of God and his very largeness.

You have NEVER been to the mountains?! I live in a valley and have mountains all around me. I have three ranges: Owyhees, Rockies and Sawtooths. I have never cared for the water much ever since I had a bad experience when I was a young child.

I love the outdoors....downside..I hate the bugs..snakes and some wild animals...that ruins some of the enjoyment of it..but I do love it..bug repellents don't always work..

And I seem to attract..all the poison Ivy..lol..but you are right..but there are pros and cons in everything we do in life..and although sleeping in a tent..on the ground is a back killer most times...lol..it is sometimes worth the enjoyment we get out of it.

There are pros and cons for sure. I try to be sure I am totally covered and that I wear no perfume and that seems to help.

The outdoors is wonderful and the spiritual connection to nature is amazing. Although the bugs do get on your nerves. Esp here, even deep woods off doesn't seem to keep them away.

A guy I used to chat with online told me that in Florida they have an insect in the bogs and swamps that is like a huge misquito. He said they suddenly come in in hords. Ugh!

The bugs are bad, especially in hot weather, aren't they? Have you ever tried using skin-so-soft bath oil as insect repellant? It really helps me and I use it on my horses whenever I go riding. Bugs really aggravate the fire out of horses! You would have to get it from an Avon Representative, though. I learned that skin-so-soft has a lot of good uses when I sold Avon years ago.

Sounds horrible in FL. If it's cool or cold out and I don't work too hard, I can use skin so soft. Otherwise, my pores open up, that stuff gets in them, I end up with zits all over. Also, I can't have very much oil very many places on me. I overheat. So for a short period of time, like going from my car to my house, it would be OK, but not working outdoors all day. Also that stuff does nasty stuff to some of my summer clothes.

Isn't that where the black hills gold comes from? Must be lovely country! I feel close to the spiritual side of things when out enjoying nature too! Especially when in the mountains.

I've been to the Black Hills in South Dakota. That is beautiful country! I was with a tour group and we also saw the Badlands and Mount Rushmore. We went to Keystone, South Dakota and I really enjoyed it. It's so much like Cherokee, North Carolina. Did you ride horseback much when you were younger?

Yes, that's where the black hills gold comes from. I remember there was one lady with us who went to several shops up there looking for some black hills gold jewelry. I bought a necklace from one of those shops but it wasn't the real black hills gold. I doubt if I could have afforded the real thing, lol! It was beautiful jewelry, though!

Yes, I enjoy nature. You know how much I love to ride horseback for one thing. I also like to swim. I try to walk 3 times a week, too. Right now, the honeysuckles are blooming around my house and they smell so good! They always make my walk and ride on a horse more enjoyable. I also like the mountains, ocean, and the desert. Like you, I also feel closer to God when I'm outside.

I have a real soft spot for lilacs. There were my mom's fav. I smell them and think of her. As if I don't think of her enough.

I like lilacs, too. They are beautiful and smell so good! I guess my favorite flowers are honeysuckles and hyacinths, though. The only problem with hyacyinths is that they don't last very long. I have some that grow every year in March on my patio.

Hey celtic! I also am I nature lover! But, I think I gave up camping a long time ago! I used to love to go camping when I was younger, about 30 years ago! Went canoeing down the Delaware River Water Gap for 3 days! Did alot of fun stuff way back then! But, I also loved to go for long walks upstate NY in the mountains! I love being by water! That's my favorite and still is! You are never too old to go to the beach and watch the ocean! I hate the damn bugs, but it never stops me from just being outdoors! I am so happy it's the start of Summer!

I do enjoy being outdoors. In the summer I love hiking and swimming. I also love to fish. I like to camp but not as much as I do spending the days outdoors and the nights in my bed..lol. We enjoyed a few trips of tubing down a river last year too..I'm hoping to do a bit of that again this year. It is a sort of spiritual feeding to be out an among nature for me.

I find my solitude and balance in nature. As a child, my family always went camping. Being one with nature is a great experience for anyone to have. I highly recommend it. We lived in Alaska so mountains were all around us. It was a great time in my life. I still like to go on nature trails and take in the great outdoors. It brings both peace and joy to a tumultuous world.

Put yourself in a daydream in the middle of the forest. Full of trees. Full of birds. No no no! dont includes snakes and anacondas tigers and dinosaurs. Just trees. It is the best relaxing thought you could've ever been. If your in a middle of stress just take a nap and think of it. You will be inspired with peace of mind.
