Body posing instead of a casket??

Okay so I was watching the news and apparently it is a new fad to have your body posed as you were in life for your viewing/funeral services. Another woman is requesting to be posed in her kitchen??? Is it me or is this a little bit freaky? I mean to me the body is notihng without the soul- the soul leaves the body in death. So your just posing a body..not the soul of your loved one. What are you thoughts on this new funeral fad?? Check out the pics here: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/gallery?section=news&id=7463614&photo=2

That is kind creepy to even look at. I mean I could not do that let alone stand to look at it when it is someone I know or not. People will come up with creative ways to make money off of people. It is just crazy! But to each their own.

I think its creepy hehe.. He seems so alive in that pose. But if it was me if my FAMILY can take it I would like them to pose me in a stage with a guitar and a microphone. It's not that im a singer or something like it but I was a frustrated stage performer. I really have stage fright. heheh

ahhhh now I do see a point in that. Pose me doing something I wouldn't have done on my own. I write poetry...but my stage fright keeps me from reciting it live.....in this case...they can pose me on a stage dressed real fly reciting my poetry.....maybe they can have my poetry playing in the background. :)

Wow thats creepy and good at the same time.. And the part that your family will hear you read out your poetry on stage... That's really a good one.
