Are 'chick flicks' Real movies?

There are very few Chick flicks I will Try to see. I see the commericals and I get so angry! I rather see a damn good action film! ps. the answer is yes. Chick flicks Are real films . They are just not for me.

I usually just recommend she go watch it with a girlfriend. That usually works. Lucky for me she's not that into many chick flicks.

The majority of chick flicks can be rather mundane and a little brain numbing as they rework the same sort of storyline over and over again. But even so I usually find something a little fun in many of them. Plus of course there are those chick flicks which do stand out such as "Terms of Endearment" undeniably a movie made for women but with a great performance by Jack Nicholson it has something to offer male audiences.

I normally do not like "chick flicks", but with most things in life there are very few absolutes. I have been convinced to watch a few of them, and I really liked a couple of them, such as "The Notebook" and "Sense and Sensibility". They are not all insufferable, although for the most part I do cringe when someone suggests that I see one.
