To be honest, I don't recall being hugged but one time by my mom. My dad on the other hand, tried to show us love like that but it was far and few. When he hugged us, it usually meant that there was stress going on in the family, or something tragic happened. He always told us when we were feeling "little" (another way of saying we were bummed out and were feeling low) that we would get hugs and he would tell us that he loved us. I miss those days. He worked for a while in Michigan and we were in Ohio and when I needed a "feeling little hug", he was too far away. He's home now and I get them when I can and I am 32 years old. Never gets old. I love hugs.

I missed this things from my mom because since I am a kid and reached until I am turning 30 years old my mom still hug me specially when I go home from work. I am now away from my home because I don't want to remember my mom's deeds when she was still alive. I hate to go home, I mean our family home because I will remember her always. I live now with my wife and away from the home with my dad. I am relieve from stress or tired if my mom hugs me. This is the way she show her affection to me. How I wish she is still alive so I will always received a hug from her specially now I work from another country.

Always, even when I am not a kid anymore she still is hugging me;) Helps me to get over my depressions and know that I can overcome and hardship in my life, my mother was always there for me to push my forward and not giving up. I guess I really am a mommy's boy.

my mother was very big on giving hugs and kisses and showing affection to my brother, sister, and I. that's why in my own home with my own children i am always huging them, letting them know i love them every singel day. even on those days i don't like that much. i never walk out the door without saying i love you. nor do i go to bed without giving them hugs and kisses. mind you my oldest son is 20 ,my second son is 14. and they still love it!!!

I was hugged and told I love you all my life, still am. But my mother is a product of a childhood that was hug-less. She said her mother never showed her affection of any kind.

Thats an interesting question because I know I was loved but I cannot remember any hugs. I would hope that my mother did hug me because she does now when I see her at christmas.

My mother gave me plenty of 'love.' She often hugged me and told me she loved me. She still does and I'm nineteen years old. She says that I'll always be her little girl. (:
