i would like to buy a camera and i need somebody to help me.. what should i look in a camera in order to have a superb quality of the photo that i want to?? What brand?? Sony or Canon? which is which? I am talking about the commercialized digital camera with 12-14 megapixels...

Will depend on what you are taking , i.e Night shot , fast shot or normal day shot . Megapixel is not everything about camera yea . Also are you looking for DLSR if you are talking about quality photos .

what about night shot and with dark lights sir bobby? what can you suggest?

I would advise you to take a Canon, with 14 mega pixels, it is wonderful this one, with canon you can always get the best ever images in your pocket, they are a marvelous creation of the Canon, try it you will see.
