Body Piercings

Do you have any body piercings other than earrings? I used to have a tongue ring when I was in high school. My parents didn't like it and they wanted me to take it off. They even took the barbel (tongue ring) from me. And then when I was about to start college, 1 day before the start of classes, I bought a new barbel. The hole closed already, and I wanted to wear it on the first day of school. So I bought a large needle and sterilized it. And yes, I pierced myself! Lol. It's 1 day before the start of classes, I wanted it so badly, And I don't have the time to get it pierced so I pierced it myself. It was painful! But the pain is tolerable. I remembered that the first time I got it, it didn't hurt as much. Maybe it's because it was done by a professional. And it hurt because I did it myself. Anyway, I did it. I was so happy when I was done with it. Phew! When I talk or eat at home, I was very careful for it not to be seen, but when it healed, I take it off whenever I go home. I stopped using it because I wanted to change my image. Lol. Other than tongue ring, I also had my top cartilage pierced. I still have it now. Even though I don't put earring on it, the hole doesn't close since it was the bony part of the ear.

That's cool. I've thought of getting a belly ring, but I don't really wear short tops so it'll just be useless. Lol.

I have piercing in my ears but hardly wear any earrings, I do not like to wear it. Now since you are telling me you have your tongue pierced yourself, oh my God I can imagine how much pain it was, and how much desire you have to put a piercing. Well good luck and I hope everything is hygienic.

Lol. Don't worry med. Everything's hygienic. Though it is tolerable, yeah it is painful. Not gonna do it again! Ouch! Lol. ;)

Nope, just my ears. I can't really see myself doing anything around my mouth. I'd be too afraid of infection for one thing.

Hi, sophiaraine. I used to have my nose pierced many years ago. At least 10 years ago.. I let the hole close up, because I did not want to any longer project this wild style of mines anymore. I also had both of my cartilages pierced too. It took so long for it to heal up after it was pierced. This was my sensitive part of my ear. How can you stand to get your tongue pierced??? I have a friend of mines whose tongue is pierced. She loves having it in her mouth. I guess she thinks that it is sexy. I don't think that I can stand getting my tongue pierced, I know that it will hurt like crazy!!

I just have ears pierced once. I wouldnt like the image I would put across by having other piercings. I would never think of self piercing. Ewww lol. I have nothing against others who pierce their bodys though. Your body is your own to do with what you want. You only get one though, so you have to take care of it.

You have a point there. Too much piercings are unpleasant to the eyes. But it's how you carry it and yourself. I don't like people who have too many piercings. They look weird. Lol. I know there might be a few mylotters here that have too many piercings, so no offense guys. Just an opinion.
Piercings look beautiful if kept to a minimum. ;)

i don't have any piercings, but i do like girls who have a pierced belly-button 
i've always been somewhat fascinated by the strength that ladies actually have in themselves to tolerate such a painful thing..
but anyway, belly-button rings are still hot!

No, I don't. I just have the traditional piercings (one in each ear). That's all I ever wanted when it comes to piercings. I don't need (or want) any more than that.

used to sport a piercing in my lower lip.
got tired of it after a year and ditched it. was never really a big fan of piercings. some of the people i've seen went too far and had multiple piercings in their face. that stuff just won't fly with me.
to each his own i guess.

I don't have any body piercings but i'm planning to have one paired with a tattoo. My mom will be mad at me so i'm planning on how i'm gonna pull that off. Lol. Best of luck for me.

i just don't like body piercings.
i don't know i found it really painful and i don't want to try it either.
and my impression on someone who has tongue pierce is a rebel one/bad one.sometimes i also think of them as a funk one or addict.
well,i'm just against it.i don't want piercings/tattoos.it's like having dirt on your body and that won't do anything to you.well,it's my own opinion,my friend!
we all have freedom to choose whatever we want to do in our lives.
it's your life,do whatever you want with it,it's your choice by the way!
