So I got a side job cleaning houses and offices.. Well I haven't started yet, but I got the job and I am just waiting for my first appointment, and I don't get it. I don't like to clean my own house, in fact I hate it, but I still do it. But I am excited to get out of the house and clean someone elses place. How bout yall are any of you like this? and why?

I too like cleaning because if we clean surround it usually look beautiful and nite and tidy.I don't like to live in dirty place i feel unforgettable. If my house is little dirty i used to clean every day due to cleanness we are more healthy compared to others. If i go to others house i used to clean their house because it won't look good.I like cleaning.

Yes,i like to clean, cleanliness is a great virtue. It is next to godliness, almost all the nations attach the greatest importance to clean. In Hindu scripture,it is said that clean of body leads to purity of mind, which elevates our moral as well as spiritual life, and at last bring us nearer to god. The Muslims wash their hands, feet and face before they sit in prayer . clean is a mark of politeness. It commands respect ,every one likes to associate himself with a man of clean habits. So we should keep our dress, house and clothes clean. No refuse should be allowed anywhere around our neighborhood . We should always keep in mind that where there is dirt, there is disease.

I hate cleaning and can't imagine myself wanting to clean someone else's house if I don't even want to clean my own. I wish I could afford a maid or cleaning service because trust me I would not clean at all. I do love to cook though. I make breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. It is rare when I go out to eat. It makes me feel good to know that I made the meal with TLC and that my kids loved it.

Good on you for getting a new job! I started a little cleaning business around four years ago when my daughter started kindergarten and I enjoyed it because I was my own boss and I didn’t have to accept jobs I didn’t like. I did well out of it but eventually had to quit because of illness. I enjoyed the job a lot but I must admit when it came to cleaning my own house I still did it but, boy, was it an effort! Hope you enjoy your new job!

Nah, I don't have any preference or dislikes for house keeping. It's just something I have to do and I'll do it. But to think of cleaning up someone else house? No thanks.. Because I'm the kind of guy who doesn't like my stuff to be rearranged by others, it just makes me so helpless not to even know where to get things at my own place.

I only like to clean when my cleaning mood sets in. Otherwise, I'll just leave everything until there comes a point I can't stand the sights anymore. Then I'll start rolling on the broom, mop, vacuum cleaner and whatnot. Good luck in your side job, you can do it..

I started my own cleaning business but lost interest in it when I started cleaning people's bathrooms. It seems easier to clean other people's homes than it is our own because they have different things in their place and it's a change in cleaning. Each person has their own way of cleaning where other's are careless and just want a good dusting. Some are very particular about the ways they want cleaning done. Take care

hi LBDR nope not at all I do not like cleaning house, any house but you want someone to take care of a sick person I am all yours, I will wait hand and foot on your sick one, make the bed, give the meds, give the bath and backrub, love it but do not ask me to clean your house or do your laundry or do the dishes, I wou ld r ather empty a bedpan first than do those things. why do i like to care for sick people because i feel I have actually helped someone and thus justified my taking up space in this old world.

I know it is hard taking a job that you do not in order to support a family, but I want to say that I am proud of you for taking the job. The economy is bad right now and the way I look at it, taking a job you do not like is better than having no job at all. I am a college graduate and I have had no luck finding a job at all. I keep on hearing sorry you are over qualified.

I actually think most people are like this. it is so much different to clean someone else's house, especially if you like to organize. you look at your own stuff every day all day long, and you have to clean it over and over again, it doesn't seem worth it, but when it's someone else's, you get paid and then it's done....you can see the progress and you can step back and say "i did that". it just doesn't work as well with our own "boring" stuff.

I like cleaning my house I like when in my house tidy . But be honest with you when I was work in company who cleaning houses, offices and school it wasn't good experience. Clean office and school was all right but sometimes they give me houses to clean who look they get cleaning company once a 3 years. that houses was really dirty and stinky I don't know how people can live like that. In England it is program who show two women show how clean them house and some of them was look this same like there. I hope you will not have that experience.
