Does anyone know that winrar is not an archiver, but it will also help to determine the virus on your computer and delete the virus from for removable device like flash drive?

i never trust anti virus, specially when it is not updated... or there is no internet in a place where i had a computer troubleshooting job.... i used winrar to know what kind of virus that affect the pc of my client.... then start removing manually by using other software

The purpose of winrar like other softwares is compress data and not to detect virus, is the first time I heard this kind of affirmation... Could you explain more this you are saying? How can a software not designed to detect virus, detect and eliminate virus?
