This morning my husband got up early and about 2 1/2 hours later he comes into the bedroom with a try of biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice, coffee and a very special note. When I was done and he came back into the bedroom to get the tray, I asked him what was the occasion. He looked at me and said "Oh, I don't know! (he smile) I love you and I just wanted you to know that, because I don't say it enough. Have you had any surprises from your husband lately? Take care and have a wonderful day Snow

Hi, snowqueen2000802. Yes, my husband cleaned up the main rooms in our apartment. He really made me happy. It took a big load off of me! And he took out a bunch of trash that was piled up on the kitchen floor. I cleaned out my closet yesterday evening and I asked him to get rid of the bags. I had about 11 bags that needed taken out. I woke up this morning and all of the bags were gone. I know that you enjoyed your breakfast this morning. I think that it is very lovely that he prepared a surprise breakfast for you. You are his special lady and he really loves you!! You are very blessed to have him! And he is very blessed to have you as well! Enjoy your Memorial Day!

That kind of help makes life easier doesn't it. I do not know about you, but I will get going on a project, and get it done, but the after stuff, like the bags of trash, just overwhelms me, and I am worn out.

hi snow what a lovely thing to do, and that reminded me of the time my husband came home with an armful of the most lovely and sweet smelling stock in several different colors. He said he just wanted to give me something to make me smile. You see we lost our little daughter on Thanksgiving day and she was only eight, so I was grieving full time and had about given up on life and on God. so he jolted me out of my selfishness as she was his daughter too andhe was even hurting worse, as she was daddys little girl.I had to laugh as we used every containedr we could find to pt the stock in. such an odd name for such lovely plants an blooms. I was so grateful and filled with love for him.

That was such perfect timing for you, and great generosity. Sometimes we need a jolt like that in order not to give up on the whole world.

About a week ago my husband tells me he's going to buy me my birthday presents early. It was so sweet of him and I told him he really didn't have to, but he did. My birthday isn't until July so you can see how early that really is. Just the other day I ordered a video game for him, I told him about it though. One thing about us is that we're not too good with surprises. I know I can't keep a surprise secret, and we also don't like to be surprised especially if someone tells us they're giving us a surprise. He told me he was ordering my presents early and I had to beg him to tell me what one was, when I ordered him something I told him what it was because I know he doesn't like surprises. The surprise was he didn't know about it.

My husband and I are the same way, so if he were to ever do something like that it'd be a surprise to me. Actually he'd have to tell me he was taking a shower or something, lol, or I'd have gone to investigate.

It took him 2 1/2 hours to do that? Jeez! He's a slow mover! I guess that it's Memorial Day where you are and whatever you want to remember is worth remembering. A nice gesture from your hubby, anyway

I get coffee in bed anytime I am willing to stay there and drink it. Hubby does not serve meals in bed, as he does not like to eat in bed and figures no one else does either. He will cook all kinds of wonderful things for me though at other times. He makes sure all the cars are really in great running order and always puts in the gas, even though I am perfectly capable. There are lots of generous and caring husbands in the world.

Oh that is so sweet, my husband only says he wants to do things like this for me..He also says things to me that he thinks I want to hear..Because in order for him to do this, he'd have to get up very early. Not only do I not sleep in, but he is slow when it comes to cooking..I can probably cook and clean up 2 meals in the time it takes him to prepare one..

It took my husband 2 1/2 hours to make breakfast for me; he did clean up the mess and it was delicious. That was very sweet of him. This only happens once in a pink or blue moon. In away, it it happen everyday I don't think it would mean as much. Maybe one of these days you will get a BIG SURPRISE ******** like I did. Take care

that is so wonderful to know that you had such a lovely surprise and sweet partner in life. but i am single so i don't experience that at all. not that i don't want to. but what can i do. ha ha. anyways, hope that you will have that kind of surprise more often. but not the exact same thing. maybe something different. some other ways for your husband to express his love for you.

Sweet! How blessed you are. There are many, although we women know of too many that are not at all sensitive. But there are many out there. I think as women we just don't see the little things in life, sometimes. It is wonderful that your morning started out beautifully. I wish you many, many more moments like these. Take care.

Sounds like we both have wonderful husbands. Mine works 7pm to 7am and on the days he is off following a long night of work he'll come wake me up with a hug and a kiss and say I brought breakfast if you want to join me. We'll eat and then I'll get dressed and we'll go somewhere because he knows I miss him when he works nights. He'll being things home and i'll ask why and he says just because. When I was working the girls were jealous because they said I was spoiled....lol I am I know it. I love him with all my heart he's my world.

Awwwwwww that's so sweet! I love it when hubby's do things like that once in a while just to surprise you, but most of all just because. The last sweet thing my hubby did for me was a few months ago. My favorite color is purple (of course) and he went and got me purple tulips just because. I was floored because he usually doesn't do things like that but it was super sweet :)

That is very lovely and thoughtful, when men do things like that they show their true feelings.A few years ago I was undergoing fertility treatment because I had a lot of problems conceiving so every Mother’s Day I would become quite depressed as we had been trying for years. This particular Mother’s Day he woke me up with a kiss and promptly walked away; next thing in walks our cat with a small box of chocolates attached to his collar and a card tucked inside it, the poor thing walked in the bedroom dragging the chocolates on the floor and jumped on the bed as he did every morning. The card said ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ love Friday (the cat). Aside from when my daughter finally came along, that one would have been the best Mother’s Day gift ever!

OH my god your husband is the sweetest ever. I wish i had one. But I think I'd better enjoy my single life first, committing to someone for the rest of your life could be scary at times, dont you think?? At what age do you think a woman should get married??

Coming from a guy... not all men are like that. Some guys would never think of doing something that meaningful because of their EGOS. Of course, it doesn't mean he's not a good husband, there must be other things he does to show his appreciation. What makes your husband special to you? That's the real question here.
