Please help to understand the following sentence,especially for the words "but nevertheless" That experiences subsequent behavior is evidence of obvious but nevertheless remarkbal activity called remembering.

Proof of the behavior is obvious, not that it matters, it's an amazing thing called memory. See if this doesn't make more sense to you. If not give me a little more info and I'll figure it out.

Hi!Thanks for your response!I am still not very clear for that,and what i want to know most is the meaning of" but nevertheless",this is the first time for me to see this words and what i have always seen is"but" or "nevertheless".Please don't be bothered by my poor English.

Oh, I'm not bothered. English is the hardest language in the world to learn. Your doing a good job. Nevertheless, means 'it doesn't really matter' or 'thats not the point'. It is used to explain why the author added a bit of information that wasn't required to make his point.

"but nevertheless" - remebering is obvious but "no less" remarkable because it is obvious
