Songs that stick!

Every single morning, I have a new song stuck in my head as soon as I wake up. Its not a song that I regularly listen to, or one that I had ever heard for a long time... sometimes I can't even remember what the song is, and I have to look it up to figure it out. This morning it was the song, "Superfreak" by Rick James back in 1981. Do you ever get these crazy songs stuck in your head? What comes up the most often?

When I wake up in the morning and when I listen to a song then this is going to be song of the day because I don't know why I do not stop singing the song. Even if someone is near I do not stop I think it is just like that.

I was totally into reading lately that I feel like theres a wall of words erected inside my head. And because of it the songs I always thought about seem to have lost their steam. Same can be said with looking at lots of pictures. From audio the mind instead switched to visual addiction. Music is fun but stories read can compete with that.

I don't usually have a song struck in head every waking moments of my life. But if it does, it's usually the last song my 3 yr. old daughter was singing before we fall asleep.

I have that weird moments when I'm thinking of a song that I can't remember. Most of the times, I can remember a line from a song but can't remember the whole lyrics and the title. Mostly the songs that was on my minds are old songs, songs that I heard from my elder sisters when I was still young.
