Hi guys, this is a follow up post on the incident where Louise bit my cousin and my family wanted me to get rid of her by giving her away or by putting her to sleep. Whew after much debate and discussion that made me stressed out I get to keep Louise! Yay, this will be a second chance for Louise and new beginnings. I get to keep my dog. I never believed in putting her to sleep or even give her away. It will create an unstable dog if I ever give her away. I am concerned about giving her stability and a good home. Hope My new additions the twiniees cupcake and munchkin could add color to her life. Hoping that she would learn how to interact with other dogs as well as people. I have also been studying Cesar Millan's technique and glad to say I am learning from it. What I have observed though is that Louise is more controllable now than she was before by me acting more of a pack leader rather than relating to her in human ways. Thank you so much guys for your support when I was going through a rough time, I do appreciate all your suggestions and advices.

Hi Gabs, Me too Gabs I am happy I get to keep her because I know she has the potential to become a wonderful pet just that she should be given the chance. Yup I need to provide consistency with walks, with training and socializing.

I am so glad that you are able to keep Louise and I hope the new doggy additions to the household will help entertain louise and tame her. I am not sure how easy it will be to train them all, but I hope that you can figure out the best way, and I also hope these won't be too troublesome to feed.

What I am glad about is that Louise does not have a food aggression. She might be picky but never food aggressive. The other 3 dogs that are coming are fed with dog food so I do not think it will ever be a problem, Hope this would encourage Louise to eat more and eat dog food.

I am happy for you that you get to keep Louise. It is a very tough decision to put her away or not, after the incident with your family. And now, she is given a second chance. I hope she will learn too. And Cesar Millan is well known for his skills in dog training. I have watched several of his appearances in Oprah. And it is so amazing. Goodluck to you and to Louise. I hope everything will worked out great. (^^,)

It pays off to watch Caesar and to be the pack leader of your pack!

I am so glad to hear that you are going to be able to keep her. You are completely correct that rehoming her just because she had an occurance in her life would be a thing that would be very stressful to Louise and it would make it to where she wouldn't be controllable in her new home either. As long as you are able to be firm with her and you continue to learn from the reading that you are doing by Cesar Millan, I believe that she will soon be a well adjusted and easy to get along with dog.
