Would you invest in good shoes?

I love my jogging shoes so much. It's so comfortable, light and has shock absorptive properties which helps to minimise any impact on my feet. Besides, giving me balance and stability, it also helps to prevent lower back and knee pain.
Although, it's not cheap but I think it is money well spend. Do you invest in good shoes too?

Yes, I will definitely will invest on a pair of good shoes especially for jogging. Our feet is much more expensive and precious than the shoe. That's why a good pair of shoe is a right piece of equipment required to protect it. I am planing to buy a pair of good shoes. My friend is recommending me the Asics brand. Unfortunately, I still got time to go and buy it.

Thanks, cheongyc for your respond. You are right and of course our feet is much more precious and valuable than the price of the shoes. It's really very important to invest in the appropriate type of shoes designed specially for different sports. I am glad your friend had recommended similar brand of shoes I am using like Asics GT-2130 or Asics Kayano. It's light and comfortable especially for long distant running. Hope you will find time to buy a good pair of shoes soon.

I have more confidence in Asics since you are using it too. Ok I will remember the name, GT-2130 or Kayano. I think I might consult the shop owner's opinion when I go to check it out at the shop. The shops selling Asic is not so common in the place I live now. That's why I could hardly find it over here.

Yes, it's a good idea to check with the sports shoes shop owner. This is because there are different types and brands of shoes designed to fit the structure of your feet. For instance, Asics Kayano or Asics GT 2130 are for regular arched feets like mine, New Balance 1122 or Reebok Premier Control DMX are people with flat low arch and Adidas Adistar Cushion or Nike Pegasus are designed for high arched feet.
Sometimes, Asics shoes are not displayed in some shops. However,the shop assistant will be more than happy to serve you if you mentioned Asics shoes. As this brand of shoes are the favourite of most sports enthusiast especially joggers.

Hi ketping, my group of good friends and I usually would like to spend our vacation to some foreign temperate countries by the end of the year. 
we always escape from the scorching heat here to enjoy the cold weather that we never ever would experience here. We need a lot of go on foot sightseeing during the journey. Therefore I need a pair of good quality shoes to protect my feet. I was advised to get a pair of sneaker made of leather that would keep my feet warm during the frozen winter season when the first time I joined the trip many years before.
At the moment I have three pairs of good quality shoes. It's worth to pay more for the good shoes. For not only we feel comfortable and relaxed to put on them they are durable as well. The amount I had paid for the first pair of good shoes I could purchase three pairs or so of the ordinary shoes actually. They are really good and soft and could stand wear and tear for so many years

Thanks so much,ikbooi. You can really take good care of yourself. It's good that you do invest in appropriate and quality shoes . Although, the price of good quality shoes may triple the price of ordinary shoes but you do know it's value for money. It also help to save medical fees as foot and other orthopedic problems are very much reduced. Don't you think so?
