well there are not a lot of zoos in this countries and most of the ones that are operating are privately funded and those that are public zoos are not maintained properly. well i visited one not maybe a month ago and i was wondering why there are so many hotdogs in a spot. I thought it was for those hotdogs stand but when i say one of the zoo staffs throw it to the bobcat i don't know if ill laugh or pity the zoo. Processed foods are not animal friendly and it can hurt them. well im not really into zoos but this one is near a park and i was getting bored.

i really hate the concept of a zoo.sanctuaries are a much better replacement for zoo's.atleast animals can move around freely.

I agree; and they are much more exciting, as you see the animals in their true naturalistic state.

Where I live there is a Zoo at only 3 minutes from my home. I can hear the lions at my room and is a little scary. Ironically I have not visit the Zoo, and I have two years living here. I am planning to go this summer with my little 3 years old son.

We have several zoos in our area. We have a local park that has several wild animals on display and a petting barn with goats, llamas, sheep, rabbits and several other small animals. Then we have the city zoo. They have giraffes, monkeys, a rhino, emu and lots more. Then I am about 2 hours from the national zoo. This zoo is huge. It takes a good 7-8 hours to walk completely around and see everything. They have the pandas, polar bears, black bears, elephants and much much more. I don't go to the zoo often but I will ocassionally stop by one of the local ones just to check out the animals as many of them are very cute.

If I have been in zoos, some time ago that I do not meet to any and it is as you say, always it is much better than the animals be in reservations natural and not enclosed in small cages and evil taken care and badly fed.

I've been to two zoo's. The one is a bigger one. It is actually really nice. It is a clean zoo and has a lot of learning stuff as well as animals. They have nice big open areas. The habitats seem really close to what the animals would be used to. The other one I went to was a smaller zoo. I'm thinking it is privately owned or something. I didn't care for it too much. It was so small and hot. the animals seemed to be crammed in to small areas. it was sad.

There is a zoo in the city where my parents live, some years ago my father got some free tickets, and he asked my mother and me if we wanted to go to the zoo with him. When we arrived there I was very surpriced to see the zoo, because I hadn't been there for many years, and they had changed a lot of things. There were a lot of new animals, and the zoo had become a lot bigger than before. We walked around for a couple of hours and we saw most of the animals.

there are a lot of things in the world we have to take care and i think only the government have to take care all the zoo in the country or else there will be a lots of problem in the country and it will put only the country people in trouble.. we have to take care of all the animals and if we failed then there will not be proper recycle and there will be lack of rain and a lots of problem which follows..so it is in our hand to do the things in the right way..

Yes,i've been to the zoo, most especially when we are a kid.And i really enjoy being there before, seeing animals that i dont usually saw that's make me enjoy it.And when i have my own children i usually took them to the zoo,and i they are enjoying too.But now, when the last time we got there i was upset in what i saw,the animals cage are dirty and smelly, they are also old now,i wonder why they did'nt change them with younger ones..maybe they lack out of budget... For sometimes now,we dont go there anymore..
