Do you have a pet preference?

How many of you prefer one type of pet to another? Personally, I really don't like cats (being allergic may have something to do with this, though I also don't enjoy their attitude.) I have had dogs my whole life, some better than others, and I think they are a great pet. My mother recently got some fish, and while I enjoyed watching them swim around every so often when I visited her, they aren't the most enjoyable.
I really enjoy non-traditional pets lately though. I have two rabbits, and they are probably the best pets I've ever had. While I intend to have another dog in the future, I can't imagine going very long without having a bunny around.
So how about you folks, is there a certain animal you just couldn't live without having as a pet?

I love all animals. I currently have three inside cats, two outside cats, and one inside dog. Oh, and we have a horse too! We have also had fish, hamsters, and chinchillas. I would have to say cats are my favorites! They use the litter and they give themselves baths.

That's wonderful! How were the chinchillas, I've always wondered about the kind of pet they would be. Are they friendly? Do they have much of a personality?

The chinchillas were awesome pets. They are friendly and each has their own personality. They love to crawl around on you and they are so fun to watch. When they eat they stand on their back feet and eat out of their front feet(hands).

No i have no pets at present, we had 2 cats and dogs and one parrot, but since we move out to my son/daughter home frequently, it becomes difficult for us, no body is agree to take care..
