Internet connection eat too much memory. Plus, if you are running some other memory-hungry programs, they will also contribute to slowing down your PC. Maybe you need to upgrade the memory of your computer (RAM and Hard Drive). Try upgrading them and see if the performance will improve.

Also try to figure where that weird noise is coming from. Is it coming from the hard drive or from the processor?

do you have anti-virus installed in your pc?? Maybe your computer is infected with virus. if u have anti-virus installed then update it and scan your pc for viruses. make sure you have an anti-virus which has internet protection with it, because the problems have started after you have set up the internet so probably the source of the virus is net.

Buy ram if you have 512,b or less, clean your pc a bit with antivirus and programs like ccleaner. Maybe your cpu fan is slowed down because of dust and everything is overheating so open the case, take a look, maybe buy new cpu fan if you have to. Hope it helps

i think is is mainly of two reasons. first one is slower internet connection and second one is because of memory problem. for first one upgrade the internet connection. for the second you must end the unused programs using task manager, and also configure the "mscofig" mainly the start up tab. ensure the free memory on primary drive. otherwise you have to restore.

First thing first : using a good anti-virus run a full system scan and then remove all the unwanted programs from your computer, clear temp, cookies etc and then try cleaning the fan from the cpu using the can of fresh air .. All the best - Sasi

well.. if you had mentioned about your system details like RAM, CPU, etc., it could be more clear to give answer.. but from your description, there can be few reasons. 1. Your computer may have less memory (256/512MB) or your browser memory utilization is too high, try to use Chrome once. 2. Your internet connection speed is less or may be traffic with your ISP. 3. Your hard disk may be having any bad sector, you can perform check harddisk error from Properties of particular drive. 4. Your hard disk may be having more temporary data. just clean your system using ccleaner or go to run type " % temp % " without quotes and space and delete everything. 5. Last and common problem is of virus.. Your system may be infected with virus, use any good antivirus for your system.

Verify some stuff at you PC that can help in overall performance. Delete junk, garbage, from hard drive, get a good antivirus spyware software, edit start up programs that slow down your PC, delete unused and unwanted programs, or more RAM memory. You can do many of this things with CCleaner, is FREE. Then if things do not get better you can get a memory upgrade.

You must specify what computer do you have, I mean kind. If you hear noise, that's could be by various factors, problems with your Hard Drive or with the micro processor cooler, if it's just with youtube videos, then can be a problem with the cooler, because the processor could be consuming so much resources to reproduce the video, first you must tell us what kind of computer do you have.
