Does your family make comments about your weight?

Hey I know exactly what your talking about. It hurts my feelings yeah but it doesn't make me want to go home and start a diet or exercise just the opitsite i tend to eat when upset. It is a big issue with me and my family which all of us are over weight but me being the biggest in the immediate family they tend to talk about me losing more. And i hate hearing that I'd be sooo pretty if i just lose it..Yeah i was Pretty once but after i got married i ballooned the first year and i have been struggling with it since..nothing they say or do will help until i guess i hit rock bottom as they say and get myself in gear Dr.Phil says I'm the only one controling the fork or the shoveling of food and my body and i can be the only one to stop it ..I want to it just seems so hard when stuff keeps going wrong and since i'm an emotional eater....you know what happens..weight gain..But hang in there they may be hope for us yet..lol

No, because I don't have a weight problem, they do. I never say a thing about it, as I don't want to hurt them. Don't let their insensitivity get to you. What is inside counts, not outside. My hubby is very heavy, and he is the best!!! I love him as is.

Everyone in a family tells me to eat more and gain more weight. Im little underweight but I dont look that skinny or ill looking. Im very comfortable with my weight.

My family was hard on me when I was younger, like in my teens and I ended up with a bit of a complex about it. I went thru high school thinking that I was overweight because my mom was so skinny, like a size 6, while I was 4 inches taller than her and a 12. Now I look at pictures of myself back when and I am angry with them because I was beautiful and healthy and they should have been saying that instead of getting down on me. Now I am having a hard time losing weight from my last pregnancy and we are moving back closer to my family soon and I am getting paranoid about it. I know no one will say anything, but sometimes all it takes is a look, you know?

Mine do, they tell me to eat more and put on weight! Sometimes it's as bad as being called fat. Nobody is perfect so don't worry.

Yes. My mom worries I will loose to much weight. I had the opposite problem, I lost too much weight when I was younger.

even i am over weight but yes they do make comments on me being over weight but take the comments positive and dont mind it
