Has anybody seen ghosts?

Yes, i have been seeing a ghost or a spirit for the last 15 years or so, in my bedroom, standing next to my bed and looking down at me.It started around 20 years ago when i started experiencing mysterious light taps on my body, sometimes on the back, sometimes on the hands, legs and buttocks.It used to happen during both day and night but only when i was on the bed.This continued for around 4 to 5 years. I was never afraid but a little amused by the whole affair. Then one night around 15 years ago i suddenly awoke around midnight and i saw a white figure silhouetted in my bedroom door which was illuminated by a low power night light in the next room. Istared at it for a few seconds and as i raised my head to look at the face it slowly disintegrated. It was a solid figure but did not scare me.After that i used to see a figure standing a few feet away from my bed and this used to happen in Aug-Sep and around either Full Moon or New Moon days.This figure was usually black and would be seen by me when i suddenly opened my eyes at night and when i tried to look fr its features it would vanish. My latest sighting was in the afternoon just a couple of weeks back and it seemed to be sitting on the floor of my bed. I have never been afraid and it has not sent any chills down my spine up to now.I feel it could be my 'spirit guide' or some other entity which did not want to do me any harm.

When I was about sixteen years old I was carrying a basket of clothes to the basement to wash. As I approached the washer and dryer standing next to the boiler was a female ghost dressed in 30's type clothes. I dropped the basket ran up the stairs screaming. They are said you are white as a ghost what happened. I try to explain that something was down there my dad ran down to check but of course it was gone.
