Well here in the UK, our summer has just begun... and although we have had some really beautiful days, some that have been really hot, and some that have just been warm, or sunny with a breeze, I have to say today has been awful... this morning instead of waking up to the beautiful sunshine... I woke up to the horrible grey sky, grey clouds, and rain... I really don't like this weather, I much prefer the sunshine... I like to make the most of getting out in the garden and doing things or enjoying the day with my kids, but today I have been stuck indoors so far, and now it has stopped raining, I am hoping the sun will come out just a little bit, so I can get back out in my garden.... sometimes this British Weather just annoys me! How about you do you feel the same way, about your weather, or do you enjoy a rainy day?

Hi rosie, nice to know that the chill winter of your place had over and you could enjoy the warm sunny day with comfortable breeze Though it's really disappointed that sometimes the weather might change out of our expectation. And what we have planned earlier couldn't carry out smoothly... I live in the tropical region with weather which is totally different from that in your place. I love rainy day for the downpour would help to lower the scorching weather here. The air in rainy day is fresh as well. Plants growing in the house compound seem really vigorous and lively after having the moisten of the rain I love the four beautiful seasons in temperate countries. We people here could have the opportunity to experience the genuine severe cold and snowy winter season only when visiting to country during its winter season. Happy posting

I understand that it's always more comfortable and relaxing to have outdoor activities free from the thick and bulky winter clothes for sure. Yeah, I believe the weather of summer day there is similar to the dry season in our place. We are always happy to have sunny days and we put on our tshirt and jeans conveniently all the year round. We could enjoy having fun at the beach all the time except during the couple of months by the end of the year for there might be storm due to the north-east monsoon wind. Yeah, only people who have experienced the inconvenience of winter days could realize deeply how snow would bring trouble to the daily life. As what I had learned from the news early about severe snowstorm befalling in certain regions did cause unexpected disasters. I hope you and yours enjoy heartily the joy and fun brings by the beautiful summer season

Yes I guess I could understand that, especially if your country does not have such weather, and believe me snow is an experience... as a child, like many children I used to love the snow, but now I just find it annoying, it's hard to walk on, I get too cold, and back in January it was so bad here, that I was actually snowed in for a week, and I can tell you, even though I was in the warm, it was not fun. But thats just me, others I know absolutely love the snow and cold better than the summer. I guess I am just a summer lover.

Tell me about it, my daughter has come to stay for a few days, luckily we have a cover on the pool but she had come expecting some sitting around in the garden and barbecues. We DID have a barbecue last night although we were eating it using the parasol as an umbrella!! It's a roast chicken dinner tonight I'm afraid!!

Yep that sounds about right... it's almost as if it just cant make up its mind... and I don't know about you, but I can never rely on the weather forecast as the weather seems to change from day to day, and not be anything like what they predicted

It depends on what I need to do. If I have work or plans of going out or traveling I prefer a sunny day. However, if I just want to stay at home, cuddle, play with my kids, watch a movie and then sleep I love it when it's raining.

It is the same in Indonesia. The weather changes a lot for the uncertainty. They said it is because of the global warming. Indonesia has dry and wet seasons only (being tropical islands in the equator line). Dry begins April - October, Wet begins October - April. It is now June and we have rains. Last year on December we did not have any rain. So confusing...

I also live in the UK but I have also spent many years in the tropics. Which is best? Well we seem to have managed to complain about the weather in both climates! haha This morning I walked the dogs in the rain. The smell of the rain was lovely but the smell of wet dogs is definitely an acquired taste! They of course loved it. Then this afternoon the clouds cleared a bit and the warm sun shone and the UK was looking at its best. On the whole, I think I prefer the variety of UK weather.

I woke up this morning to a not so sunny day, but not bad. A few hours ago the wind picked up, the sky grew dark, and there was thunder in the distance. It started raining very heavy shortly after that. It is not quite so dark out now, but it is still raining. I don't really mind a rainy, gloomy day if I am planning on staying indoors, but if I have to drive in it then I don't care for them much.

Hi, rosie230. I am very sorry about your rainy day today. It was not raining here today. It was sunny and hot. It was 88 degrees today. It is now cloudy with no sun out. It is 5:11 p.m. now. It did rain and storm all last week here. It kept me indoors much more though. I know how the rain can be with it rains and leaves the ground all muddy and wet. I hope that this week will be more prettier with more sun and no rain for you. I hope that you get to be in your garden this week.

Today it is raining, but I didn't hate the day, because in China if summer, it will be very hot, so sometimes rain will bring good mood. I found the weather changes much this year, sometimes it is sunny day moring, but it will rain at afternoon, I don't know why the weather changed so much. what do you think of it?

Hi, rosie230. I liked summer very much when I was a kid. I think everything is going to be easy in summer. For example, I can get up from my bed very fast. It doen't like winter, I used to make ideological struggle for get up. Furthermore, I like icecream very much, before 17 years ago, I could't eat ice cream in winter, so I like summer more. However, recently, the weather is so strange. It changes fast. I like before weather more.
