Will People Power still works if new administration don't work...

Just tonight, i saw a comment that says if the new administration fails, there's always people power. hahaha

That is so lame[/b], since when people starts completely don't believe in the system of our Government. haven't they heard the process of impeachment or file civil case? we have law makers and civil rights lawyers.
having another kind of people power in this TIME LINE 21st century, will be the another worst embarrassment for the country
yeah, Freedom of expression. but who voted for this two by the way, that's the question that people should start asking, [b][/b] then evades the question by starting another kind of topic.
If we are to be vigilant and have the REAL PEOPLE POWER in place, it should be done, during the election period, criticize your candidate, dig dig dig for information about him/her instead going to the streets and let yourself be hurt by cops and firemen's hoses..
Of course, more debates.....

After EDSA 2 we have seen how it had miserably failed to change the present administration from doing what they want for themselves. We have learned that from doing it again traditional politicians have started using it to their advantage already that we have to be careful using it again as a means to reform the government.

hello Rsa,
that's what might happen, but if such happened i won't support it, won't even bother watching it since PP happening this year would be an embarassment to the country. look at other countries, they learned that lesson after giving they're own version of people power that they imitate from us, they became better people, what about us? still usign PP? yet we didn't do somethign to initiate change.

i think that the real people power happened during the marcos time. i don't trust the people power that happened after that first one. it's really embarrassing to have another people power since they put the son of the mother of democracy in our country. we should be watchful of our leaders' move and be responsible as citizens. don't blame others if you think it's your fault.

that's true, at least ERAP faced his allegations and accusers, unlike GMA who kept avoiding the issues and even bother putting a commercial about her achievements after the election, which is truly weird.

I don't think People Power at this time will be as effective as the original People Power. There are far too many complications today and alot of people are fed up with this type of movement. Also, there should be a compeling reason why this move needs to happen.

Agreed. the first original people power is the real spark of a silent revolution against the marcos regime. people thinkg that PP always works to oust a government official, having PP now would show that people don't believe in the system, so if that's the case, why vote in the first place.

You have a point, actually it is an eye opener messages to me. That is right, why do we vote for this people if we will disagree with their performance in a later run. Maybe because all that he or she had promise are just trap inside a garbage can. Or maybe he or she will never do that anyway, it is just a promise a promise meant to be broken. Another people power will happen I swear but people power online. Because some of the people do not find it more effective to express it on the line rather than on the road because the government will not be affected by it. They will just be know it and do not do anything about it.

lucky if we can have another people power. for it did not work on arroyo's administration. she has done a lot of things that people can have the power to impeach her and to organize another people power but nothing happened. she was that powerful that everyone in her camp bowed down to everything she says and want to do. if the next aquino administration fails then it would be very humiliating for them if people will have a peoples power against them. thy are the ones who started this power with her mother Cory, it would be humiliating if the next people power is against Cory's son.

No
one can predict Noy's administration not to mention that he's from the Opposition, which is really doubtful how can we be able to see a brighter future to some one who has won with the help of the media. we won't do that, specially those who voted for gordon, if there's a going to be PP, it would be coming those who also supported noy, who didn't benefit from his promise.
