Just like the heading states. Do you remember the 80's? I know I can remember some of it. So in the 80's there was alot of movies released. I was wanting to know what you favorite movie of the 80's was? Why do you choose this movie? Also tell us a little about it. Have a great day! Happy MyLotting!

oh the 80's... i love the 80's. ;-)
my favorite movie from that decade is BIG. a movie that featured Tom Hanks.
also, i like Mannequin and Pretty in Pink. ;-)
need to mention Karate Kid.

OMFG LOL I remember the 80s very well...mind you I was a teen throughout that entire decade LOL..some of my fav movies would be things like Flashdance, The Breakfast Club, the Outsiders, Ferris Bullers Day Off, Weird Science, Footloose just to name a few....The 80s had the best movies and music..the fashion really sucked though LOL

Oh I certainly remember the 80s and my love of movies started in the 80s. My favourite movie and a favourite of many would be "The Breakfast Club" because not only is it entertaining but the themes approached through out the movie resonated with me as a teenager. In strange way those themes still resonate with me over 2 decades later.
But whilst "The Breakfast Club" is my favourite the 80s was a seriously great decade for movies from such simple fun as "Splash" and "Big" through to the powerful "Platoon" and not to forget the so bad it's good "Streets of Fire".

I remember the eighties all too well and the great fashions that ensued from the era! 
I can’t mention just one film I enjoyed then because there are a few. I loved ‘Breakfast Club’ (1985) ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ (1985) and ‘Pretty in Pink’ (1986) I particularly loved Andrew McCarthy who was in all of those. Who can forget the ‘Back to the Future’ films? They were brilliant and still enjoyed today!

I love the 80s even though I was born in the 90s haha. My fav movie from the 80s is Stand By Me which was filmed in 1985..released 1986. It is actually one of my fav movies of all time as you can tell from my username lol. Its a story that was adapted from a Stephen King novella. Tells the story of 4 young boys who trek through their local woods to find the body of a missing boy but end up learning alot more about themselves.

I looked around for movies I saw that I really enjoyed and it seems none of them I searched were released in the 80's I have some in the 70's, 90's and even 50's but nothing in the 80's :(
