Do you like fruit on pizza?

I have been told I'm really weird because I love fruit on pizza. If I make a pizza at home I literally cover it in fruit (the base is still tomato and I still use cheese. I'll happily try any fruit on my pizza at least once as some do work better than others.
I think the best fruit to use are: pineapple (obviously!), strawberries, kiwi and bannana.
I know a lot of people will probably find this disgusting as I know plenty of people who dont even like pineapple on their pizza never mind any other fruit!
Whats your view of fruit on pizza? Do you love it or hate it?

That is very unique indeed. Myself, I hate even a single slice of pineapple on my pizza! Haha, I just think fruit is better tasting when you eat it fresh and uncooked. I bet it would taste pretty good, and I think I know why. The salt from the regular pizza ingredients, like cheese and tomato sauce, compliment the sweetness of the fruits, and vice versa. That is why sea salt is so good on chocolates and caramels, and why chocolate covered bacon is a real hit.

It is very delicious, but don't eat too much of it, gives you a nasty stomach ache.

i havent really tried a pizza with lots of fruit toppings... i have just tried pineapple in a pizza... but i would love to try your pizza loaded with fruits, lets see if it will taste good..

I've only tried pineapple too. I wasn't too fond of it. I prefer having mushroom and onions on my pizza. I felt like the pineapple was too mushy. I really hate mushy fruit.

I have only tried pineapple on pizza and it is really good.
They have dessert pizzas that you can put fruit on they are suppose to be really good.

If you love pineapple chances are you'll love other fruit too! Strawberries are so good, they taste similar to when they are freeze dried in cereals etc.

I want a pizza with lots of tomatoes in it. I also love
pizza with lots of olives in it. Olive is a fruit, right?
I don't mind having pineapples in my pizza as I grew up
eating Hawaiian pizzas.

Pineapple.
I don't really have anything else on my pizza, I've never tried strewberry or banana. I couldn't picture how that would taste to me but I do love pineapple. I basically have Ham, Sweetcorn, Cheese and Pineapple on mine. Sometimes I go for sausage but most of the time it's the above, also I tend to go with bacon instead of ham or sausage.

Hi. MoodyLauz. No. I don't like fruit on my pizza at all. I never have. Now, I would not mind eating an sliced up tomato on my pizza. I consider an tomato as an vegetable and not a fruit. It is just something about how fruit tastes on a pizza that has meat and cheese on it. I don't think that I would like this to very much. It is liked adding fruit to a salad with meat, yuck!

I like pizza with pinneaple and ham but I not try your version of a fruit pizza but I see nothing wrong with it and I will not turn my nose at it if you gave me a slice

I love pineapple on my pizza but I would not put bananas or kiwi on my pizza at all!!Or strawberries. I would only eat pineapple only on my pizza. Have a good day!!

I don't know how it will taste. I love pizzas, but not tried fruit. I have a doubt whether outlets will prepare this. I do not prepare at home. Never tried.

i love pizza but i just have tried pizza with pineapple topping only.what a nice suggestion but i never make pizza at home, then the only fruit topping i've ever tried is the pineapple.other fruit is unavailable at pizza store.but i would love to try to eat pizza that you have suggested.:)

I think I will draw the line at pineapple (LOL).The idea of strawberries on pizza does not appeal to me although I do like strawberries with cream! It is a matter of taste I guess, we all have different preferences. Pizza is one of the best take away meals I think, one could have a different one every night and not get bored!

I would have to say that I love fruit on pizza but I haven't tried more then pineapple on pizza. I'm sure that the fruits you suggested would probably be pretty awesome on pizza as well. You would also be able to work on getting some servings of fruit while eating delicious pizza. Maybe I'll try out a kiwi, banana, or strawberry pizza in the future.

No fruit on my pizza, ehhh, I'm a meat & cheese lover! I just can't help but think that fruit could actually ruin the whole tradition of the classic pizza pies ... A plain extra cheese pie, a loaded pepperoni pie, or HEY, a sausage pie. White pie with garlic, ricotta & bacon, or the occasional mushroom pie. What about that mouth-watering Buffalo chicken pie? NOW I'VE GONE AND MADE MYSELF DROOL! LOL Anyway, THAT'S where it's all at, yum! I'll leave pass on the fruit!

No i don't like fruit pizza. Once i have try and really didn't like it.
And me don't like pineapple but on fruit pizza pineapple is compulsory as much as i know.
I don't hate but don't like fruit pizza. i like different pizza. Like chicken or lover's pizza.

I love fruits on pizza too! I love pineapple, bananas,kiwi and even grapes. haha it's kinda weird but I really love it.
