Mortal Kombat Reboot Film

You really thought it was terrible? What didn't you like about it? I thought it was awesome and the overall general response I've read from fans on other sites are in love with it as well. I'm just curious what about this clip turns you off on it? =O Interested in your opinion and all. haha

It's incredibly cheesy and tries too hard to be realistic. So we have blind super assassin, a cannibal killer with harlequin ichthyosis (lol'd hard), crazy surgeon with attached blades to his arms and undercover movie star. It's so ridicoulous that suddenly demigods and immortal ninjas make more sense. So why not just stick with the original concept? Why replace magic with science? Can't wait to see Raiden tho. Scientist struck by lightning during an experiment. Oh wait, that's Flash. The Johnny Cage vs Baraka fight was incredibly boring and Lateef Crowder didn't show any of his usually impressive moves. Also I hate that blue/green filter. And do we really need another MK movie? It's not like the franchise has much movie potential to begin with...There's big chance that this movie won't be made anyway but I still kinda hope it will. Looks like fun, even the trailer makes me laugh.

Well from what it seems, this was the demo pitch (which I'm surprised to hear since it seems it had a hefty budget). But based on the quality of the pitch and the fan response, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a go.
