Do you check the other discussions before starting yours?

I don't think people do check. Also some people see a discussion going on and see that it is getting a good number of responses and copy it,sometimes word for word

At first I tried to reply to all of them, but after a while I got tired of talking about my favorite authors.

I believe many people not reading the guidelines so they dont know about how to start new discussion. I do check first when i want to starting new discussions. :)

No, I just like to start my own. If no responses, then I know it must have not been interesting enough, but had fun starting it.....
