is being beautiful and good looking enough to make your partner stay with you?

Being beautiful is very important in first impressions but it is not enough to make your partner stay with you. Personality is one of the most important thing in relationships. If you cannot get well with your partner, you cannot be happy.

Actually there are many factors that could affect ones relationship and it does not entirely depends on the look. Not because you are beautiful and good looking does it mean your partner will stay glued t you for the rest of your life. there were some good looking couples whose marriage and love affair just started to dwindle as times goes by. Maybe the lack of understanding and love make a relationship turn sour. Or the other partner expected too much from the other and vise versa and ended being disappointed and thus making the love grow colder everyday and eventually resulted to breaking up.

No it is not. But looking repulsive can end a relationship for sure. It's one thing to overdo looking good, plastic surgery, working out 5 hours a day, eating only lettuce. No that won't keep a relationship together. You can look wonderful on the outside, and if you are a jerk or a snob, then no one will stay with you long. Look at Hollywood. Snobbish arrogant, self-centered people that look perfect.. yet have marriages that last a week or sometimes a few days. But there is an alternative extreme where people get married, and then become disgusting. Weight 300 lbs, have 5 chins, and rolls and rolls of flab. Cut their hair all off, or men that stop shaving and grow a 4 foot beard with wild hair. Lay on the couch all day watching biggest loser, while eating potato chips. I've seen marriage fall apart from that. No spouse wants to come home to someone revolting.

Being in a relationship and maintaining with it is a combination of various factors. Good look is just one of those. It's not a big factor unless it was one of the important reasons why you decided to be in a relationship. So i guess it's a case to case basis. I agree with you that attitude is always been the winning traits or factors why people stay longer in a relationship.

for me love and respect for each other are the most important between a relationship. Physical appearance are just add ons, for him not to look for another. ..We still have to look beautiful for our partner.

For me, No. One of most important reasons why partners stay with each other, its because of love. Love can move mountains, right? Relationship can work if there is love between partners...You will give everything for that relationship to work because you love your partner and you don't want to lose him/her.
