If you are planning to settle down and have your own family, how big would you want your family to be? I am referring to how many kids do you want to have NOT partners. :)

I would say a minimum of 1 and a maximum of three. Currently we have one child and are contemplating on having another one. But who knows sometime later we might just think about another one or we might just have twins this time around ;) Cheers! Ram

WOW that's great. Even me, I will go for 1 to 3 kids only since life is somewhat tough nowadays. And if ever I would have twins, I want 1 boy and one girl, that would be perfect for me. :)

i always want an ideal perfect family of four..with a loving and faithful husband..and a set of twins (one boy and one girl)..i also want the boy to be the first one to go out of my tummy so that he will always be the big brother who will take care of his twin sister..i can't wait to settle down and start painting my future..

WOW! I also thought of that. If ever I would have twins, I want them to be one boy and one girl. It does not matter who will come out first, I just want them to be one pair. :)

I don't have any kids at the moment, but I think I would like to have two kids in my future family. Two kids are enough for raising them properly, I am sure they would get enough attention and care from me and my partner.

Two kids is enough if you have one boy and one girl. But if I will only have boys and no girls or vice versa, I would still make a chance for my third one.

Well, I first started thinking about having kids when I was 18 years old. I got married at 20 and had my first child 9 days before my 21st birthday. I used to want to have 12 children (!!) but then once I had given birth, I decided I wanted to have "only" 4 kids! I have 4 children - 3 daughters aged 19, 17 and 14 and a son aged 18. It is unlikely I will have a 5th baby, but some days, I think it would be nice!!

WOW, 1 dozen of kids? That's a huge number..lol You have a lovely family I guess. They are all grown up now and I guess you miss having a little baby that's why you wanted a fifth one. But anyway, I wish good health to your kids and your family. God Bless!

Yes, that's exactly why I'd like a 5th, because I don't have any little ones who need me so much, now my kids are older!! But maybe I will have grandchildren in the next 10 years???

I was always the oldest, I had a brother two years younger than me and then out of the blue I gained another brother when I was 12. As much as we thought I loved having a brother close enough to my age but still younger so that I could boss him around. A huge part of me would love to have the same sort of pattern when I have children. Maybe I would just stick to two and try and have around a 2 year age gap.

I would also prefer 2 to 3 years of age gap, I would love to see them grow closely.

I have always dreamed of a big family, because I really like kids, and also, I would want my children to have several siblings to play with. So 3 would be an absolute minimum for me, but I would rather have 4 kids, or even 5! I'm not sure that is going to happen, because you can never know what happens in life, right? But if I could plan it all myself, that's how it would be...

I also love a big family but I guess I cannot handle raising a big one so I only want a max of 3 kids. I saw some family who has 5 to 7 or even more kids and they are happy and when a problem occurs in their family, I salute them on how they would help each other to solve this problem. So lovely to have a big family if only life is not difficult these days.

I think having a three kids is better. I like to have two boys and one daughter. But since I can't predict or choose the gender of my would be kids I might as settle on what will be given to me. I have four siblings and we are all five children in the family. And I knew that having many siblings is good. The reason many siblings is good because you have many people to support and help you. And it is also a happy family because of many different personality. Sometimes there's always some children that is not good so I still can depend on my other child.

yes you're right. having a big family is like having great help from every corner. I know some big families where in they take problems one at a time because everybody is helping and thinking ways to solve the problem.

LOL not partners? well I do want to have 3 kids someday with a loving father.. 3 because normally when only 1- mosts kids tend to be somehow selfish when 2 - they would be jealous of one another and always fight when 3 it means happy family it rhymes right?

yeah, and they also say that three kids is the ideal number nowadays. But first, you need to look for that loving father, you're lucky if you have him now. So happy for you.. :)
