Why are most americans not successful?

Because they choose to stop learning. Life is all about learning and living. The three rules to success is LIVE, LOVE, LEARN!!!

I love the rules you wrote here. I would say anyone across the species would not be successful if they stop learning, not just americans.

I think its a mix of the above, lack of knowledge/learning/lazyness and a close mind which doesn't allow them to look for opportunities and makes them think life is supposed to be a simple rat race in which you HAVE to accept what you get and closes your eyes from the great road that is ahead of you. If people were a bit more open-minded when it came to choices and opportunities and what you are capable of then perhaps things wouldn't be as bad.
