How often do you eat chocolate?

I love chocolate, and I could eat it every day, literally! But I try to keep it down to a minimum, because too much chocolate isn't very good for your health or for your teeth, as we all know. So I guess I eat chocolate around twice a week or so, but I still think that's way too much. How about you? How often do you eat chocolate? And are you happy with that amount, or do you wish it was more or less?

Chocolates - Chocolates is my favourite food and my pantry is never without them.
I eat them every day till stocks last! I am a chocolate foodie and my shopping list always includes them. It is only when I have delayed my shopping that I will be left with no chocolates at home. I have also tried making chocolates at home but have yet to reach the standard that I am looking for.

Chocolate making is quite easy but one has to be accurate when it comes to timing. There is an item called coco butter which I don't get here and so I use ordinary butter which is not as good as the real stuff.

Wow, that is ambitious! I never even thought about making my own chocolates, but that is a really cool idea actually! Keep trying, you will get there sometime! (Is it very hard by the way?)

I used to eat a lot of chocolate but I don't think it did my health any good. I don't believe the propaganda that chocolate is good for our health one bit. So I eat very rately when I feel like mistreating myself. But doing that less and less these days. I like the feeling of feeling healthy.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I love milk myself, dark is a bit too heavy and much for me, even though you could solve that by eating less I suppose. But I always go for milk!

Eating chocolate is one of my passions. I usually have something chocolate everyday. it is such a comfort food to me. If I don't have my chocolate, i am in withdrawl. I am a much happier person with chocolate than without.

Yes, some scientists even say that there is something in chocolate (like something chemical) that makes you happier, and a lot of people who eat chocolate say that too, so I do think that there is some truth to that!

i so much love chocolates that i even tried to hide them away from my kids so i will be able to eat them alone. since i'm a bit concerned now with my weight, i am trying to limit my intake of sweets. as much as possible i try to eat chocolates once or twice a month wit the littlest amount.

Oh, that is so cute! I am thinking it is very possible that I will do the same thing when I have kids one day, haha! But you are right, one should definitely keep track of how much you eat, or you could face tons of not pleasant health issues after a while! Thanks for your reply!

Hello! I also share your love of chocolate. I have a small piece of it every day...wish I could eat less, but it's one of life's pleasures :) I am opening up a chocolate making business, which is making it even more difficult! But, I still say it is healthy to indulge once and awhile. Check it out: oh-my-goddess-chocolate.com

Well, I dont think one piece (especially if it is small!) a day is too bad, you deserve that! And your own chocolate making business sounds so cool! I would also want to have one, but I would probably just eat all of it myself, haha! Good luck with your new business, I hope it goes well!

I think I could have a diabetes for the reason of loving chocolate so much LOL! :D I can help myself to taste different chocolates. I am not the type who eats chocolates until being full but I definitely want to taste all of them. Milk Chocolates, Dark Chocolates, Fruits and nuts, almonds and others, name it, I love them all. I just ate one before typing this :D

Haha, I know what you mean! I love trying new kinds as well (even though I am not always too pleased about some chocolates), it's the best! It's hard when you have chocolates around as well, it's just so hard for me to ignore them sometimes. I don't keep chocolate around the house because of this, but we have chocolates at the office, and I have such a hard time keeping my fingers off them!

Oh no! I can't imagine what that must be like! Aren't there some sugar free kinds as well though? Have you ever tried them? Maybe they could work as some kind of a substitute at least?

Sometimes I eat chocolate every day, as it is one of my favourite things to eat. I try to choose lower fat chocolate bars like Flakes, rather than heavier chocolate with more calories in. If it was better for me, I would eat more chocolate, of course!!

That's a really good idea, I can't believe I haven't thought of that before! I usually just take smaller chocolates instead if I am trying to be healthy, but low fat one is actually a much better option, at least if you can find them! I have to start looking for them I guess..

Hi,puccagirl! I eat chocolate just when I want to.I don't eat much.A bar in a couple of days.Even not eating chocolate for a month. Not that I don't love chocolate, just I'm not addicted to it.The only food I'm addicted to is meat.hehe.Can't live without it for even one day.But I'm fine with snacks or other kinds of food.I just eat when I feel like eating something. And I like this habit. Have a wonderful day!

I love chocolate too, although I don't really need to eat it everyday thankfully, there are somedays when I am absolutely craving it like mad, and on some days I just don't feel like any. When you've had a lot of chocolate in your life, you gradually get bored of the same chocolate and you start looking for other brands made with better quality ingrediants because you can really taste the difference. It's true that it's bad for our teeth especially if we're chomping some evry minute of the day, but believe it or not eating chocolate is far better for your teeth than sweets, plus eating chocolate also helps us to produce more of the natural endorphins in our bodies! :)

I eat everyday. Now I have a piece (sometimes 2) of Hershey's kisses with almonds every morning to kick start my day. I have to get dark chocolates to replace them though because it's more beneficial.

Sadly, I'm a very poor person. My allowance is only enough for lunch and fare, no chocolates. But I do eat some occasionally. I can't imagine my life without chocolate.

I love chocolate, but I don't honestly eat it that often, i have a 10 pound chocolate bar sitting in my fridge that barely is nibbled on, and im excited to finish it

I like chocolates, but even though there's a lot in our refrigerator, I don't get to eat them often. It's only when I craved for them , that's the time I would eat. But with the foods we have at present .... ice cream, buns, pancakes etc... almost all have chocolates in them. Maybe that's why I don't craved much for them because in some way, I do eat them often. :)
