What's fair compensation for this situation?

I had custom drapes ordered by JCPenny's. It took them 6 weeks to get them made and brought here. Upon reciept I saw that my order was not right. Returned them to get fixed. Took another 6 weeks to get them back. Got a call saying I should recieve a call to set up an appt. Didn't get a call. Then I called and they said oops they are not ready yet. So Wait another 2 weeks. Then they finally get here nd ask me for the rod. I said I don't have it you guys do. Then again changed the appt and got another day for installment. Finally they are up. So for my time, frustration, inconvenience what do you think I should ask for in compensation?

wow. they should give you something for free or at least a gift card. i would complain like crazy!

I don't think you could, but do some research on JCPenny guarantees and if they gave you any receipts see if there is any fine print that states what you are eligible for in case you are not satisfied (which you clearly are not and neither would I).
