If you are planning for US for higher studies in IT, why you want to go for some typing jobs??

It's just a little on the side to fund my ebay shopping. anyway, part-time work isn't bad, whatever carer, profession, our educational attainment you want to achieve. Having a few extra bucks wont hurt :)
As for being appropriate, I am currently working as a technical consultant, and as much as i'd like to do part time work related to my IT career, odesk and freelancer job providers tend to look at experience, which I still don't have. My current work is very IT but rarely the ones in demand on online jobs. I deal with EDI and e-commerce. All of which are outsourced as a business to business solution and not as a freelance job

Typing sort of jobs are much hectic. They dont accept copied or scanned data as well. Moreover they need accuracy more than 98%. Low paying, tough work its is.
