old when he built the ark? I don't think it is true, because not even people these days live to be 105 most of the time.

Well, it is not fair to compare things the way they are today. Because before the flood things were a lot different than they presently are. Because of the flood whole vegetation belts were wiped out in such a way that their existence is in doubt. Whole climatic atmosphere changed. This caused an unusual change in a normal persons life then and we, the descendents of Noah were gifted with a short life.

So, it may be possible that Noah and the people of his time "The Antediluvians" actually lived such long ages..

Adam the first man and also Eve were in the garden of Eden where the Tree of Life was and they were not forbidden to eat and so there were eating that their lives were long. In fact Adam lived 930 years and Mathousala who was the grandfather of Noah, 963 years. The lived many years before because Adam and Eve were eating the fruit of the Tree of Life and so when they sinned, God drove them away from the garden because God did not like them also to still eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life. Then before the flood, God laid out that men shall live not more than 120 years and so from then people lived not more than 120 years. Mouses in fact lived only 120 years.

I believe that they could live longer during those times because life in the past was not as complicated these days and it is very posssible that God permit them to live as old 500 years.

No, it was a myth, in my opinion. Many ancient myths represents their characters as super humans in some sort and of old ages, older than anything possible. just my opinion.

I think at the time when Noah was alive they marked years differently then we do. Five Hundred years back then might be equal to forty years today. We don't know and really have no way to find out. Also the bible has been translated many times and copied over many times. The original document could have said a very different amount of years and someone made a mistake.

Well I don't read the bible, but I have heard that people lived a lot longer back then so yeah I do believe it. And these days I have seen on the news where people have lived to be 125 years old, although it is very rare of course. Anything is possible is what I believe as long as you put your mind to it. :)
