Has Your Husband Surprised You Yet, Today?

For starters my husband surprised me with a bouquet of roses that he bought at the florists on the way home from the store, and then he saw some wide open roses on the rose bush that were open, so he picked them too. Now I have some roses that will open in a few days, and some lovely ones, already open, from the garden. Also, tonight when I suggested we go somewhere for dinner next month after we both get paid, he suggested we go to our favourite Serbian restaurant in Kitchener. Awesome!! I was thinking something local here in Guelph, but he thought we should go someplace really really special, and just celebrate being together. I have the best husband in the world. Anyone else's husband done anything amazing today?

Aww, that's lovely. Now if it were my husband who had done that I would have fainted with the shock and then wondered what he was feeling guilty about. lol!! My husband did suprise me yesterday, he actually made me a cup of tea all by himself, even the kids were stunned!

I should ask my wife to respond to this. I like to surprise her though, sometimes I try to the little things to allow her to have more time. I try to be the best husband to my wife and support her as much as I simple can. I'm very proud of my wife for all she as given me and I hope some day she will allow me to renew our vows.

It is just after 8 am. Hubby went downstairs, cleaned up the problems left by the cats and made coffee. I am having my first cup now. It is a little early for him to be amazing.

I have no husband , but I do have a guy. No. he hasn't surprised me but that's ok. He knows I hate flowers. You have reminded me that I must tell him I hate surprises.I know you have the best husband. You have showed me that is possible to be happy and married at the same time, at least for everyone save me, lol!

That is really nice of your husband to give lovely surprises to you. My congratulations to you. We thank you for sharing this good deed with mylot members. My husband is cooking one of my favourite dish now. Since I worked in the kitchen till now (evening), he said I should relax and he is cooking. So that is the good thing my husband has done today for me.

Wow! What a terrific husband you have! I was not amazed but somewhat surprised by my husband today. I found that he had stayed home from work (to work from home) instead of going in. That's about as surprising as he gets these days. My husband seems to forget that there are two people in this marriage, not just him. I have to remind him every now and then but I've learned to expect nothing so I'm not disappointed. I asked him once exactly what was he doing for me and his answer was "I go to work." Well, that does sum him up. Of course, I tell him that he'd go to work if I wasn't in the picture; he was going to work long before he met me so how is his going to work now for me? He never does have an answer to that. It's just that he thinks bringing home a paycheck is all he's required to do. I'm sure a selfish woman would be content with that but not me. I would love to have that "partner" he was (or pretended to be) when we first met but I don't see that happening. Sigh. Our fifth wedding anniversary is coming up in August so we'll see. Last year, he took me to Denny's for dinner. (In case you don't have Denny's up there, it's a diner-style restaurant.) No flowers, nothing else. How's that for romance?

Now that is a nice surprise. I love getting flowers but usually only get them about once a year, either on my birthday or Valentine's Day. It's nice to get surprises for no reason. You are a lucky person!

Wow, you are so blessed to have a wonderful and thoughtful husband. Mine, never a surprise. If he do not upset me, it is a blessings indeed. Most of those people who knew us, said that I am a very patient woman to be able to live with him. Long long time ago, he did give me surprises but not anymore. That will be ages ago, long forgotten but it is good to rekindle this type of 'feel good'. All the best, and I wish you both full of wonderful surprises to make this world a beautiful place to live!

Actually yes. Yesterday he stopped home with one of my favorite coffee drinks, because he decided to stop and get himself one, and since he was near the house he brought one to me too. Today when he woke me up he had my coffee waiting for me at my desk.. which he actually does on most days that he's up before me. He hasn't done flowers in a long time, he used to bring them home on a weekly basis.. but between the cats and the kids, flowers don't last very long in this house.
