My doggie is one yr old.He is very very friendly to everyone.afraid of other stray dogs also even a new born dog.Never bite any theives. If anyone enters the building I stay in it just sniffs around him/her wagging his tail. What should i do to make him more aggressive? In all means. Also to maintain his[zozo's] ground in front of other dogs?

He is still very young, that might be the reason he is still scared of stuff. My dog used to be the same until he was 1,5 years old. So your dog could also become more of a guard dog as he gets older, I think. But it depends on the breed also, what kind of dog is zozo?

He is kind of mixed breed of country dog and the german shepherd or great den.His parents might ve been mixed bread as well!! Ya hope so he ll be a guard dog. But he is friendly to strangers as well.No matter if they get into ur building or near the entrance of ur house!!

So I think he definitely has the genes to become a good guard dog. Do not worry about it too much, he just needs to get a bit older and more sure of himself before he starts guarding the house. He will be fine in a couple of months!

I don't think you need to make your dog more aggressive. Dogs seem to have a sense about who they can trust and who they can't and it's very likely that if you meet a stranger who intends harm that your dog will pick up on that and his protective instincts will kick in. It might not hurt to take him to obedience classes so that you can get help training him to be a personal protection dog. Taking him to classes will help build his confidence and get him used to being around other dogs as well.
