Are you afraid of the dark?

It depends on what place I am in. If I am in an unfamiliar place I am scared of the dark. But if I am just at home, I find it not scary.

not that i am afraid of the dark, but if it's a creepy place as you have said, who will be so courageous?

Honest, I am afraid of the dark. I am always afraid of the dark if I am alone in the middle of night. Even though I never seen ghost or anything that terrible in my life, but the terrible stories make me afraid. I don't know how to be brave in the dark. I have this feeling since I was a kid. That's why I don't like to go out in the night.

Not necessarily of the dark, it's the location and it's aura that matters to me, and maybe the situation I am in.

In a strange and unfamiliar place in the dark, I have the same feeling as you do because we have no idea what will happen in such a place or what bad things have ever happened. Thus I would be more alert to things around me as I am not so sure of the security of the dark place. Anyway, I will try not to be in such a place in the dark alone, but with someone for security. Hi pinoy! I am not usually afraid of the dark either. But, as you have stated when I am somewhere unfamiliar I am not so much creeped out as I am afraid that I will get up during the night and walk into something or trip and fall over something! I guess it would also depend on where I was if I would get creeped out! If I was somewhere outside and the surroundings looked kind of scary then I might be a bit afraid!

I am not afraid of the dark. I'm used to the dark place, because I live in the village. What I'm afraid if the dark is if I go and hit something because it is not visible.

Hi pinoy blogger: I am not generally afraid of the dark but it was different when I was a kid. Actually, when I was a kid I have a lot of fears. I think that people is afraid to the dark because they think there's something dangerous waiting in the dark. Sometimes I feel a little afraid but I try my best to feel relaxed in these moments. I was never afraid of the dark but if there are voices and movement you can't identify that's scary. We were afraid of unknown since the beginning of human race and a part of us still is.

Being at a known place where I have been earlier may be a road or a room filled with lot of objects, that’s fine to be around in dark. I am not sure about going to a new place or area in dark, never tried this. I think will be scared to go in dark, who knows what can harm me in the dark.

I am not afraid of dark.. Why to be afraid there is no such thing as ghost. sometimes its scary but normally i dont feel scared stayin in dark. i am strong enough lol.. happy mylotting pinoy.

Hello Pinoy... I am not afraid always... But yes, if the it is cold and damp and nervous in there, I feel a little negative... I trust, that is simply the psychological effect of the cold, dark and negative atmosphere... have fun!

am i afraid of the dark? hmmm yes i can say. very embarrassing for a guy to admit it but yes i am afraid of the dark. there are a lot of things that can happen when it is dark. unexpected things. but if i am inside our house there is no need to be afraid. i dont like to get caught in a dark place and crowded place. just like you i am not scared of the dark if i am inside my own home but if its in a place were i am not used with then thats scary.

When I was a kid I used to listen to spooky stories about witches and the likes at dusk. I like its mystery that's why I'm always excited to hear my elders' stories about their bewitching experiences. Night time comes,if I'm alone in my bed, I'm a little scared imagining the characters in the story told plus the eerie sound of the night gives a more spooky feeling.I grew up in the province.;-) But as I grew older, the dark doesn't scare me at all. When I was a kid I am so afraid to walk in the dark even if I am walking with my mother and father that is because of ghost, the one I've watched from the television. Now, I am still afraid of the dark but this time I am afraid of criminals hiding in the dark.

I myself am not afraid of dark. There was a time when I was a child. I were very afraid of dark at that time and I think most children are also afraid of dark. Then I grew up and I got to know how everything works. I found no reason of being afraid of dark. And now I sleep alone at night in my room and I have no problem in doing so. Happy myLotting.

No, not really. But sometimes when I read scary books I get a bit jumpy and think I hear things that are not really there. So I should not really be reading or watching scary things when I am alone in the dark, I guess, haha!
