How reliant are you on your cell?

I know people who's lives revolve around their cell. They literally take the thing with them everwhere they go. The beach, shower, bed, dinner, Gym...the list goes on. I saw a girl reading a book on the bench...took a closer look and it turns out she holding onto her cell, her thumbs racing across that little keypad. Never have I seen anyone text so quickly...or so much... Then you have people like me who buy a cell, spend a couple minutes checking for messages, and that's it for the day. Use the charger once a month, sometimes more. How reliant are you on your cell phone?

I am reliant on my mobile/cell phone everyday... for me it is my point of contact with my b/f, it is also with me everytime I am in in the car driving, because I always fear that if I broke down, or had an accident, I would not be able to contact anyone. They are very useful there is no doubt about that. I do not spend all day texting, but my b/f and I do have some texting during the day and night, until we see each other.

Thanks for replying! I also tend to keep my phone for emergency purposes, rather than texting.

hehe, "Text Savvy" is a nice way of putting it. Thanks for your opinion, Jopak.

I do rely on my cell phone, as I don't have a landline and therefore it is on the only phone I have and use. I don't talk on it all day long though, nor do I text, but I do need it to keep in touch with my ex husband, and my kids. My son has called me at different times to watch the kids while he my daughter in law were at work. Now that the their mom is off work, and they are out of school, I won't have to babysit for a few months, so I can enjoy doing other things. I do use my cell phone to talk to my daughter as she lives in St Louis and I live in Oregon. That is really the only way we keep in touch with each other besides the computer. We just find it easier to talk on the phone as it is more private anyway. Take care, and happy mylotting.

i rely a lot in my cell phone as i can't stay a day without it or can't even spend time without it. I always keep it with me whenever i go and wherever i go. I just love sitting and chatting in class or just when i am out even at home. It's my favorite piece and i listen to it's music and upload videos on it all day.
