offcourse .. remove it.. this will be the general answer .. but its very difficult to remove virus from an infected computer. in the first place try not getting your computer infected by virus, this means install a good anti-virus . in case of a risky virus attack or if the virus has dangerous outcomes .. .zoooooooo .. hurry up back up your data .. then you can at least be tension free.. format your os partition .. as soon as your partition is formatted ... install a fresh copy of os and then after your pc is switched on for first time after new os installation .. install a antivirus first and update it because your pc still has viruses in other partitions.. after updating run a full system scans .. and remove all viruses present anywhere.. then you can touch your files..

What to do? 1. Run a complete scan on your computer using your installed anti-virus. Check if your anti-virus can detect the virus. 2. If there are virus detected, delete it immediately. 3. Always update your anti-virus. This is very important because there will be new viruses everyday. So keeping your anti-virus up to date can help protect your computer from new viruses. 4. Try asking around what anti-virus are recommended these days. There are lots of anti-virus today so it's wise to choose the right and trusted anti-virus. 5. If your computer is full of viruses, then it may be safe to reformat your computer.

Herro richshie I have an excellent antivirus installed. Should a virus slip thru I would go to microsoft and there is another site that helps with virus removal. I don't remember it off hand. If all else fails, I would reformat. Prosperous mylotting

i just had one recently and I had to wipe the hard drive clean. It was so frustrating too! I saved my pics and documents. But there was so much more that I lost and just can't recover! I installed AVG and started using firefox and don't seem to be having any problems now.

Depends on the virus... If you have an anti-virus software, this could help you to get rid of the unwanted problem, but if you have some files affected, they will must be deleted as well. I recommend McAfee it's the best. you have the first 30 days free and then you can renew your license for about 35 dollars or something like this. i received an offer from them the other days. other good anti-virus Internet security program is Norton.
