All Ends Well....

Hi friends, As I have written previously of what happened to my week at the beach and my ordeal with psycho mom (for the benefit of those who have no idea this is in relation to my previous post Friends Need Your Help) I can say all ends well. Because my dog Louise scratched a little girl whose mom insisted on getting an anti-rabies vaccine instead of just getting tetanus shots, I researched on how to get free vaccines and found out directly from the Department of Health that the first 3 shots are for free instead of what the hospital was saying that only the 1st dose is free. This alerted the higher office, I was able to get 3 free vials of anti-rabies and was able to share this with 9 other people who could not afford to buy that darn expensive vaccine. Also that very same day the hospital got reprimanded and that very same day they announced that beginning next week the first 3 doses are for free. Did this all happen for a purpose? My Louise getting in trouble? Perhaps it is. As God said "All things work together for good for those that love the Lord". I was able to also make new friends in the DOH and meet very important people in my city and be formally introduced to them. The next time when change is needed it is easier to report it when you are connected to the right people and you know the right one. So I was pretty happy with the outcome. My heartfelt gratitude to my friends here in mylot who gave out their support.

Hi friend, I read your other post and it seems that there is more than just one issue there. In my country all dogs have ti be vaccinated every year agains rabbies. If we don´t have the certificate, even a stratch could get us into a lot of trouble, a big fine and paying all expenses for the person who was bitten. But besides that, it seems that the mother of the girl was in hysterics. That can´t be helped, but if you have your certificates, they can´t do anything to you ( at least where I live). Your Loise might need some more training (my Lola needs some more too). My Lola will jump upon any child but just because she is playful. But she will have to learn how to play or she won´t ever have young playmates. Take care!

Well at least Lola is just being playful but Louise is not good with children. Sadly that's what I have discovered. Yup both of our dogs needs the correcting and the training. Here we do not have so much laws on dog bites and stuff you just have to answer charges if you are going to be sued if not then not.

Hiya candy, In general I would be glad if all Dogs could get all their vaccines for free as they cannot ask for it themselves. So at least a few People who can´t afford those things managed to get something. All the main vaccines for Dogs should be free for People who cannot afford it. Life is expensive enough as it is.

Glad to know you that you will get it free, at least the first three shots, here in india earler they used to give 14 injections on the lower belly , just below skin, it was too painful, but now they 5 shots, very costly, it is given intra muscular.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor
