That means that they are charging $.20 a day for a late book fee. I actually think that is a bit high as well. Well, for me, I gave up on the library a long time ago because I would always forget that I had books checked out from them and would return them late. And, in addition to that, I lost so many library cards that they wanted to charge me for a replacement card as well. Thus I decided that for me it was better to go to the used book store and buy books and/or to borrow books from friends.

Ah yes, the last library fee. I never used to have late books either, until I had kids. Now I check online with my library account to make sure I know what the due date is for my library books. Actually, I think I have some due back today.

Lol this is why I like to have my own Books and never use the Library, I buy mine of Ebay and then a Neighbour of mine has them, once she read them, they go to the Hospital for Sale for equipments
So they do some good after all which makes me happy

Yep been there and done that! I pride myself for being organised and paying everything on time including returning library books or rented DVDs but, alas, I have been caught out too and I had to pay five bucks, I don’t recall how late the books were and to this day I have no idea how it happened. Darn it, I thought I was perfect! (LOL)
