Much to my boyfriends dismay, yes. (hehe) We have a chihuahua and she is very affected by the cold, so she has a few jackets (all different "temperature ratings"). We just adopted a little terrier and he will probably be subjected to clothing this winter. I don't think he'll have as many jackets as our little south american pup, but he is small too so he will get cold more quickly than a bigger dog. Of course both dogs have bandanas :) They also have back-packs for hiking and life jackets for boating. Our dogs DO NOT have silly "outfits" that they wear all the time like I've seen on some dogs. (Have you seen those dog bikinis?? O M G!!! Terrible!!) Our dogs clothes are purely functional (but they are cute lol) I used to have a greyhound, who despite being very large, got very cold. (Greyhounds don't have the body fat of "normal" breeds). He even had boots (that he hated) for walking on the salted city sidewalks. The parrot had a harness, he hated it, so that's gone. The cat could probably wear the dogs jackets, but he'd never speak to me again! Of course everyone has some sort of collar with an id tag (the bird has a leg band). The dogs each even have a "jewelry" tag... just for "pretties" hehe

They really hate things on their feet! They walk like they're walking in glue! The boots I had for my big dog were specially made with leather bottoms and velcro "wrist" bands so they wouldn't come off. They worked really well! His skin was so thin his feet would bleed if he walked on broken ice on the sidewalk or on the snow. :( Poor puppy.

No, our dogs don't wear clothes. We have a hard enough time keeping our kids clothed, can't go there with the dogs! I think it would look pretty funny for a German Shepherd to get dressed up, and our beagle/dachshund/terrier mix would never go for it even if we wanted to. There is an entire section for pet clothing in the pet stores now and I am honestly amazed by the items which are for sale. They are as nice as kids' clothing!

in this country, the pets clothes are more expensive than childrens clothes so sometimes we buy clothes that are for kids. im also amazed of the variety of clothes for dogs or even for cats.

my lurcher loves his coat. he acts very smug when he wears it, and if I go to put his bandana on him, he knows it's a special day out, like a show, or to town, rather than just a walk, and he gets excited. with his coat, they gave it to him in rescue kennels, because he used to get cold and shiver, so I think he feels special when he wears his coat, because they felt sorry for him and gave him a coat to keep him warm in his furs of silk and velvet

my 2 dogs have lots of clothes and love wearing them. They have winter jackets, sun dresses, tshirts, etc. When I say - where is your pretty pink coat my one dog goes and gets it and brings it to me to put it on her. She is so cute!

Yes, all my dog have had clothes for winter, that's very necessary to avoid sickness, so I always wear them with them, when the day is hot I take them out. I think that they are happy to have clothes. I've seen people that wear theirs pets for events like the world cup, with t-shirts of their team, sometime it's very funny, hahahaha :)

We bought my dog a jacket, but she doesn't really like wearing it so she's only worn it a couple times.
