It's Sunday today, i am just home with the family and thinking about what to prepare for them. My mind says, that i can just check on what's on stock and do the cooking but my heart and my mouth is CRAVING FOR...LOMIEN (A chinese stir fry noodles mixed with seafoods and vegetables) that is hot and spicy. I am thinking of going out and just take out an order but i am not in the mood right now to go. There's no delivery from the said restaurant. Since it's noodles in nature, i just cooked an instant pancit canton huhuhuhuhu! Do you have any cravings for now? please share it and how are you going to deal with it.

my wife gave a festive lunch today for the celebration of fathers day. she told me not to go out of our bedroom and stay there and can only go out when its time to eat. she BBQ baby back ribs and special hilabos the tiger prawns. yum. yum yum. she also bought choco sansrival. i was really craving for BBQ. while she was preparing me and my son is at the bed room playing games. now i just finished eating lunch and got what i crave for plus a big burp.

Hello seven, that reminds me, maybe i should have asked mom to buy barbeque instead but i know i shouldn't because it cost fourteen pesos (14Php). but my mom did cook BBq Fish but i only eat if it's bangus/milk fish or something. or at least sinigang beef will do for me too.

@Hi 7th, You are so lucky that your wife gave you such a surprise. I can feel the joy in you and the excitement in your wife while preparing the surprise food in bed for you and your son. I can relate as i made this one too during our wedding anniversary. Once again, happy father's day. I am happy that you're able to feed your cravings. You have a great wife! @LK, Wow that's a lot of cravings. Bbq now are quite expensive better but if it will satisfy you go for it my friend and treat yourself. Beef sinigang will be fine for the rainy days. THanks!

I am thinking I would like to have some pizza. It won't happen today though; perhaps tomorrow evening when I go out.

I can't take it anymore lol - This is the dish I'm craving for nowadays. It's easy to prepare I guess, not that expensive, and has promising taste! You can never go wrong with meat balls.
Hi! I'm a big fan of instant pancit canton. I don't know what they put in there to make me crave for it more and more. MSG? It shouldn't be eaten on a daily basis since it's not that healthy. I'm also drooling over the idea of munching on crinkle cookies and would like to try the donut version. I just had some mango float for three days since I made 2 big versions last Friday. That doesn't even stop me from craving for it humongousLY at the moment. Lastly, the dish that tickles my tast buds big time would be meat balls with sauce. I'm so Pinoy I wonder how to stop craving for right now. There are clouds over my head with the image of saucy meat balls placed in am all white plate. What triggers this craving was the local cooking show I saw last week. Since then, I never stopped daydreaming of it often.

Hi Rainbowink, No doubt about it... the addiction factor in every instant noodles, particulary that pancit canton. all of us in the family loves pancit canton especially that chilimansi and hot and spicy flavors. 'though we recognize the fact that it's not healthy but we can't do without it. i love mango float to. my brother taught me how to prepare it and we all love it for desserts. it becomes one of the family's specialty for special ocassions. So, they you give in to your meatballs craving? enjoy it...have a yummy weekend!

Hi there Ms. Francisco 9369! It's actually one of the hardest task of being the mother or being just the one in charge of preparing meals for the family. You have to consider the budget, the amount of food as per how many servings can be made, what everyone likes and what everyone hates, not to mention allergies for some. Well, lomien or what we call lomi here is easily available at a nearby noodle shop. It is pretty convenient though I rarely crave for it. I usually order batchoy when we go there. Whenever I feel a craving, I usually try to satisfy it if not with the actual food or drink, just something that can be a good alternative.

Hi Nanayangel, You are a super woman for managing a meals and taking into considerations everything that your family's needs. Maybe one of these days we can schedule one to visit a chinese resto so we can enjoy lomien together--the real one hehehe. At least we are good in alternates and substitutes! thanks for your sharing friend!

days this week, I only own the home. My husband still goes to work, and my boys a holiday, where her grandmother. When I occasionally cook their own food, which I liked. Sometimes I have to keep to eat food that I like because my husband and children do not like the food that I like. When alone, I chose to cook food that I like.

It has probably been over a month since I've had pizza and when I woke up this morning, that has been all that I've been able to think about. I want a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onion on it. Well, my daughter has a swim meet this evening and they probably won't get done at a decent hour so that I could come home and cook, so that just might be what we will end up having for dinner. I would love to cook but I don't want to end up eating dinner at eleven tonight.

Hi Dorann, I just a pizza the other day. It's Doryvien's birthday (mylot friend, a collegue/co-worker who referred me here)and she treated us in the office with pizza, noodles, icecream and softdrinks. WE enjoyed the treat especially the pizza. it has five different flavors. So, what happened to your pizza, did you make one? how was it? have a pizza-filled weekend friend!
