I prefer travel by train, although many of the short comings of the train, such as the slow, crowded and so on, but the train can be seen along many of the city, but also encountered many interesting people, and of course the beautiful scenery along the way?

If I am travelling abroad I prefer to travel by plane, anywhere we go to from Britain we have to cross at least one sea or ocean so it is by far the best way. I do enjoy train journeys in our own country though and I have also used the Eurostar which travels under the North Sea to France.

I have never actually travled by train before other then a 1 hour trip in to the city. I think it would be a very nice way to travel since you can get up and walk around and can lay down and sleep if you like plus you can see the beautiful views. I don't really find flying very comfortable, but it is a lot of faster. So if I have plenty of time for a trip I would certainly want to try taking a train.

there is little train travel in this part of the U.S. these days Yeah, you can ride the "Hill Country Flier" up to Burnet for a day, but its not like you do that to commute. Austin has recently gotten light rail, but I have no reason to shell put big bucks on it. Honestly, there are really only 2 options around here, plane or personal car. Maybe the bus, but I've only done it to and from Houston or San Antonio.

I prefer to travel by plane. As I don't have enough time on the way. I want to go to the destination as soon as possible. Compare to taking by train, traveling by plane is much more comfortable. I love China

I prefer travelling by air, if only because it doesn't take days to reach the destination! Plus, there's just something about flying that I absolutely love, even if I have to be stuck on a flight for hours. Looking at the sky and the clouds and the fact that you can be in one place one minute, and wake up and be some other country in just a few hours, is just amazing :)

I prefer to travel by train, as it is more environmentally friendly, but sadly, I do not have the opportunity to do that as much as I would want to, sometimes I have no choice but to fly. So I travel more by plane, but if I could choose, I would always go with a train!

I prefer to travel by train because i really enjoy the sound it makes ^^.The cons of traveling by train is that it's slow and well not that secure. The pros are that it's cheap and you get to view the scenery along the way I rarely travel by plain mostly because i don't need to go anywhere far away from my town. The good thing about planes is the speed. So if u need to get somewhere fast use a plane but if u aren't in a hurry and you want to enjoy the scenery along the way use the train. Happy mylotting
