Readbud is nothing more than a scam

People please do not waste your time with readbud.
You will reach the 50 payout and then they will refuse to pay you. I have been hearing more and more of this from people who have reached payout. And now today I was told the same thing from readbud. Apparently I read too fast and so they are disqualifying me from payment. I am a fast reader, I had to learn to be when I was in university or I would have never gotten through.
Besides disqualifying people,
the are using articles already on the internet, and they are not even putting up the credits for it.
They were also banned from google, for breaching their agreement of no advertising.
People are now telling me they are not getting their 5 referral bonus either.
Readbud lures you in by allowing you get a dollar a day or more by reading articles, and it looks pretty good. However in the end they don't pay.
anybody using readbud here, what are your experiences?

Thank you for this information. What jerks they are. I hope this word gets out to everyone and in time. A real time waster. How can they get away with this. I hope they are made to go offline soon. I think I have heard of them but haven't signed up yet. Sure glad I didn't. Good to hear from you and thanks for letting us know.

yeah I wasted my time, but at least it wasn't writing for someone, and then not getting paid, that is what would really infuriate me. I just don't want anyone else to waste their time with this rotten place.

Sometimes we take a calculated risk on something and hope that it pays out. I am doing that with something right now. A friend here joined, I joined under her, and then several joined under me from Gather. I am at payout, have requested it, they have replied that they will review my request and it may be as much as ten working days.

I was not sure of this place from the beginning, but I gave it a shot, I know there was a possibility that I would not be paid, but that is okay.

I realized that it will be a scam on the day i joined it. So stopped wasting my time there.

I've heard a lot about this site recently, although this discussion is old I have still experienced seeing people around here recommending it. I wouldn't have enough time to join anywhere else but it's important to see people passing on the warnings. I wished more people who consider not trying to get referrals in the hope a site is actually legit.
Kudos for writing about this winterose.

there is no way to get paid as I said, they refuse to pay me,
well all I lost was my time, but I will never try another new service of any kind again.

Thank you for the warning. I am so close to 50 and now it looks like I will never see it. I was so counting on that money to help build my online business. I make crafts and want to sell, but I do not have enough money for supplies. I can make the dough for my ornaments, but I cannot paint until I make payout. I hope I can make it this month. I have only a few more days and am hoping I have enough time.

Let us see what happens, i reached 50 dollars payout and claimed money and waiting their reply, i have really gone through their articles as they were quite good, but worrying whether they will pay?, as most of the places it is quoted readbud is a big scam, let me wait and then i will tell and post that what they have replied or no reply at all.

Thanks for warning me about readbud. However if not considered for the money the articles are quite good for me to read so i guess i will just read them just for fun's sake.

I was excited that readbud seemed to be paying a dollar a day, but now I know they're just a scam. I've since quite wasting my time with them. The article were often really horrible anyway. I'll do more research before jumping on the bandwagon again.

I am not even going to bother with other sites and I certainly won't try a new site, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because they were so new, but I will never do it again

hi! winterose, thanks for the warning.
I have been reading this discussion about Readbud before but it was all about decreasing the task to do when reaching halfway until it would be so hard to reach the minimum payout of $ 50.
This is it. What I am waiting is this discussion that somebody reached the minimum but the Readbud won't pay.
I didn't try to sign up because I am waiting to read a good testimony of getting paid from it.
But I think, it is clear now base from your experience that it is such a scam.
They teased you to earn this much but reaching it is like a journey to calvary.
If they really pay, why should they wait for $50, because it is pre meditated already that people might quit halfway.
It is unbelievable to their part, for them that somebody like you can reach it.
