Ever dated a guy that would cry if he was touched emotionally? Say.. a good movie or a sad experience..Or so, if so what's your take on that??? Well for me, there's absolutely nothing wrong about showig your real emotions for we are all people who have innate feelings or emotions that are to be shown.. The problem is that naturally, men are brought up not to show their emotions and have that forever trademark of a "tough guy" .... Opinions???

Hi there, I would say most men rarely cry well to show how strong they are and crying is usually associated with weakness. I think that is the reason why most men suffer more on heart diseases than women do since we can easily show off our emotions. Well there is really nothing wrong with men crying or showing of emotions and i don't think it should be taken against them if they cry or get to emotional after all they too are humans. That does not make him a lesser man. my two cents.

Well according to me crying is one of the purest form of human emotion. And emotions should better be expressed than to be hidden. So i guess its not bad for even guys to cry sometimes. I know that "Real man dont Cry" thing but for me I dont think that is really real. Men do cry or should I say Men who are real in emotions and are not just hypocritz do cry sometimes. It doesn't mean that a guy is weak or poor or something inferior about the guy but it means that the person is pure in emotions and have a human heart. We have some examples of even some of the toughest guys caught crying. Who can forget the Roger Federer ,one of the best tennis player of this era, who cried once when he lost to Rafael Nadal in the final. So its something natural and its should not be considered bad for even guys to cry when they feel like.

This is an interesting question. I believe that crying is an emotional outlet that we use to balance the feelings in our system. I think that crying is very normal especially to people who are made with emotions and who are very weak to the challenges of life. If you do not cry you may develop more symptoms of weakness and more devastating experience. Crying is a form of acceptance, once you have accepted something there is nothing in this world that can put you in a feeling of guilt. Have a good day. Thanks for the discussion. Happy mylotting.

i think it's okay to be with a guy who cries. it's better to release problems and emotions by crying than to keep it to themselves. it's not healthy to do that.

Crying is a healthy practice because you can release intensed emotions when you cry. About guys crying, there's no problem with that. They are also humans, they have tear glands the same as girls, and they have also emotions. They are just not as expressive as girls probably because of the culture that boys should be strong and not show any weakness. But in reality, crying is not bad or sign of weakness. They are just being honest and true to themselves. Crying doesn't make less of a man. You know, I have a husband who is a soldier, he cries whenever he's really in pain because of heavy problems, but very very seldom of course. So it's just normal. The more I am turned on to him because he's not hyprocrite trying to pretend that he's okay. For women to cry while watching a show or movie, that is just very common. However for man to cry over a movie, that is not very common.

Guys have emotions too. Its good for them to cry as it really shows out their feelings. It doesn't mean that they are weak, but that they are soft at heart. I find it nice to meet such persons.

Can't say I ever dated a guy like that but I wouldn't look down on them. I might be suspicious because I've heard other women talk about how some men will put on fake tears.

I feel when a man can cry he is a man with a good heart and soul. I love when a man can cry and see nothing wrong with it. Its when a man can't cry or won't that I find them cold and aloof. I would never want to be with a man who can't so emotions. That would be a big turn off for me. Its a shame that boys are taught not to cry when growing up it changes who they are deep inside, in my opinion.

I love to see guys in their emotional state but I don't like guys who would cry just because of movies that is pretty odd. I've seen my husband cried because of our relationship, I find it very touching and so sweet of him to cry to get me back. Anyways, enough of reminiscing..lol. but after our marriage I really don't want to see him cry because feel pity for him working far because of our family.

I don't see the reason why guys can not cry. Like you said, we are all human beings with emotions. Lately, I've come across quite a few of interesting dramas from Korea, Their actors cry a lot, and it proof to be an amazing way of showing sincere emotions which moves viewer wonderfully. So, yes.. I think there's nothing wrong with guys who cry. :)
