It usually happens to me. I keep on forgetting my washing in the machine.. sometimes it took 2 days for me to remember before I can put it in the dryer and dry them. yes 2 days inside the machine before I can dry it. Does it happen to you too? I am hook up with my online work that I forgot I am washing..

Set a timer or your alarm clock to remind you. Your clothes would stink being kept there for so long and you have to wash them again. Yeah, it happened to me a few times so I tend to find some way to remind myself.

How about an alarm clock then, or putting post-it notes right in front of your monitor where you can see it and be reminded. It can be quite annoying to forget things.

My husband forgets a number of time so I have to double check each time he washes clothes to see if he left some clothes in there. My husband willingly takes the laundry job all by himself. He is such a hardworking husband but sometimes because he is multitasking he forgets things like that so in order to help him, I always check on the washing machine.

I hate to admit it, but yes, sometimes I do forget that I have clothes in the washer. Fortunately for me it doesn't happen very often. I don't like the clothes, at least if they are washed, to sit in the washer for more than a few hours. I actually prefer to get them out as soon as the washer is done, so if they happen to be in there longer than that (i.e. overnight) I will rewash them. What can I say? I'm just not comfortable with the idea of them being in there so long because I worry that they will start to smell funny after that.
Happy mylotting!

I do the same thing as well. It's kind of nice to know that there are other people who also forget clothes in the washing machine. I don't forget them every time I do laundry, but there are still a number of times when my laundry just stayed in the washing machine for a couple of days.

No I don't have that problem because my washer will beep and beep every two minutes till I get there and shut it off. How about if you have a micowave or a stove with a timer, you can use that to remind yourself. Put the laundry in then set the micowave for how long the laundry takes. The microwave/stove will beep and you will then not forget the laundry.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. Being disabled I don't even do my own laundry. All I need to do is remember to tell my next shift assistant to move to the dryer. Yet I always forget because there are more interesting things to do or have help with. Finally my forgetting became so bad that my assistant took to writing me notes and attaching them to my computer where I'm sure to see it.

It happens to me often. Luckily, my husband helps a lot with the laundry and usually puts them in the dryer before it's too late. It is too late if they sit there for a few hours and sour in the washer. Then we have to put them through the rinse cycle again before drying.
