I am definitely fond of being at battle of the bands and I find it amusing that the lead guitarist is playing amazingly, but what amazed me most is the bass guitarist who is a girl. I am a fan of guitars and I love to know how to play it.

I play both. But I like more being a bassist than a lead guitarist. I like to be the mover of the song. In playing, I partner with the drummer to create groovy music. I can dance while playing bass guitar, and you can also play some tricks while making the audience dance with your grooves.

there are bands that has bass lead like red hot chilli peppers. but i think that both can be used as a rhythm or a lead.

i've always admired girl musicians. i guess that's why i would love to learn how to be good at at least one musical instrument. there's really something cool about girl musicians.

I'm a bassist so this might sound a bit biased. hehe. I think our love for the bass is innate, although we're not very conscious about it. In my opinion, the reason for that is, well... we all want to dance. It's the pulsing low frequencies of the bass that gets us on our feet to strut our stuff on the dance floor. It's the same reason clubs are overflowing with people... the pounding bass invites everyone to dance and have a good time. Just imagine if the bass was turned down leaving only the high frequencies to ring --- I'm sure everyone would all go to the bar immediately to get a drink or something. hehe. It's the groove of the bass and the beat of the drums which gets our blood pumping.
